Stuff happens with the divas? I must have been pissing. It did on NXT3 and FCW when it comes to Aksana. "The Aksana Show" was f***ing hilarious. So the shows nobody watched. Hey I liked Aksana too on NXT3, but now that she is on Smackdown they aren't going to give her anything to do. Anyway, Rosa is clearly the worst.

I guess because K2 ain't around anymore, they gotta shift their animosity to somebody else. And for reasons I'll never understand, that person will never be Rosa. One thing about K2 and Aksana: even at their worst, they were leaps and bounds better than Rosa.

Aksana is interesting as a character, but she's fair from being a saving grace for the Divas division.
WWE really needs to improve the in-ring product from the Divas in order to build up its profile - if it gives a shit about it all. The temptation is to stick with the status quo, but what passes for that is really just a slow downward trend. In 2012 WWE lost six Divas (K2, the Bellas, Kharma, Gail Kim, and Beth Phoenix) and was without Layla for most of the year. The remaining Divas are an absolute mixed bag ranging from the well-trained and highly talented (Natalya) to the workably good (Eve, Alicia, Kaitlyn), to the promising (Tamina, AJ) to those better as valets (Rosa, Aksana.) The irony of the situation is that the Divas division has been given more air time, more regular house shows, a stronger and more regularly defended title scene in the past ten years than possibly at any other point in the history of WWF's women's wrestling.
At a time when WWE is airing seven and a half hours of new programming on television a week, plus Internet programming, the Divas need to be improved and built up along with the rest of the programs. I'd like to think that the Divas have moved past the T'n'A appeal and are expected to work as well as the men - hell, in 1989-89 the Jumping Bomb Angels were putting the entire roster to shame. Bringing in Sara Del Rey was a good first step, but she needs more talent to work with. Build up the roster with more independent wrestlers, focus less on looks and more on athletics and movesets, and a funny thing will happen: the women's division will get more respect from the fans who will, in turn, ask for more.

In your last post you said I can't judge Alicia because she's booked poorly. Now you're saying I need to judge Aksana by her poor booking? All of them are booked poorly. I actually like Aksana. I just don't get the Alicia hate. I think she is fun to watch in the ring which is all the divas really do nowadays. Because of the 3 hour Raws, they are having longer matches, but they don't have compelling stories or interviews like they would get in old NXT or FCW. You are judging Aksana by something she did a long time ago that we are never going to get again. I'm just judging by what I see every week currently. Neither of them have anything going on except to show up for a match against the current spotlighted diva, a battle royal, or tag match. I can't believe I'm arguing about the divas though. I mean Natalya, the best female wrestler in the company, is the valet for f***ing Khali. I try, but I can't really care about them since WWE doesn't. And to be honest, I just wanted an excuse to post that gif.
