Other. Eventually, when he becomes face he will of course become Cena 2.0 like his predecessors. Orton, Sheamus and CM Punk.

When he breaks the glass ceiling and is seen as the status quo. Bingo. Once he's no longer the underdog, he's done. No....

I totally know what you mean. I remember for the longest time people would say that Zack Ryder "tries too hard", but would do nothing but praise Dolph Ziggler and everything he did. Completely blind. Because Ziggler is good. Eh.

I voted other, I've never liked Ziggler.
I will give him props on his insane selling/bumps but thats the most you'll ever get out of me.

He dragged the best match of Ryder's career out of him (and Ryder DOES NOT succeed without Ziggler), and he's had great matches with countless opponents. He also has a pretty great understanding of ring psychology, is a very good bumper that helps put the effectiveness of his opponent over, and can sell the crap out of an angle when he wants to. The reasons people turned on Ryder (godawful acting, mediocre at best in the ring, a really bland moveset) do not exist with Ziggler. And a small (albeit vocal) minority that spoke up against Punk don't represent the whole "IWC TURNS ON ALL FACES" idea that's always around.

Ziggler's OK, but seriously, he's doomed if he turns face. Especially if he ends up against the likes of a Punk or an Ambrose.
Cena tried to take the Punk approach on Ziggler by bringing up the Spirit Squad, but Cena's enough of a goober that it didn't stick.
Punk would have made that something that ruined Dolph forever. I bet that Ambrose could, too.

FAN, 2014 "Ugh! Ziggler wins AGAIN? Man, I wish they'd just let Kassius Ohno break the glass ceiling already." If Ohno hadn't broken the ceiling by that point, I'd call immediate foul. I agree, as soon as they start having him act differently through a face turn, that'll personally be the end of my enjoyment of Ziggler. Honestly, I could see him working as a show-off face too. With someone like Dolph, there's a good reason to let him be a dick as a face: It's natural and makes sense in the long run.

When he stagnates, and they'd be right to do so.
It's happened to Cena. It's happening to Punk.

As soon as he sees some prolonged success and goes from "internet darling" to just being a "wwe superstar" then you'll start seeing the anti-Dolph threads popping up. Give it time. But first...Daniel Bryan.

Bingo. Once he's no longer the underdog, he's done. No.... Yes. People love when someone rages against the machine. Not when they come part of it. The moment Dolph becomes the Yankees, he's done. Plenty of people who were IWC faves later became pariahs: Cena, Orton, Mysterio, Sheamus, Punk, Edge, Jericho, HHH, Austin, Rock, Undertaker.

Of the three you mentioned only Zack Ryder has had a 180 and thats because most realise he isn't all that talented and is a whiny little bitch.
AJ has always had some form of division across the board but if you conducted a poll most would stioll say they love her. I never have, I honestly can't stand the woman but I and many others always felt that way about her.
CM Punk you could argue there has been a recent change in general opinion but again if you conduct a poll most people will still love Punk. It's just that his detractors will be more vocal since his heel turn as it hasn't gone smoothly so they have material to use against him.
As for Dolph, I think his fans will stay his fans for the most part but as he climbs up to main event status he will be more discussed and therefore the people who've always not liked him will be more likely to speak up against him. The internet in general will still love Ziggler though I think.

Cena- People were relatively high on him but when he buried Christian that went out the window...he wasn't at Ziggler's level of fandom and not for this long either Orton- Again, people just got annoyed when he beat Punk repeatedly and then even worse killed Christian's reign. I still love him because he's awesome in the ring, but meh. Mysterio- Refusing to losing to Ziggler pretty much caused this, so it's his own damn fault. But he's been fine lately and the hate has pretty much died. Sheamus- Because his face promos are horrible, and he went over red hot internet favorites like Bryan and Ziggler Punk- Him being turned on is overblown, it's a vocal minority not the majority Edge- Eh? I don't remember him ever being turned on really, outside of how brutally boring he was as a face in 2004 Jericho- When did people ever turn on him? Triple H- The injury really hurt his in ring skills, and he came back getting the push of a lifetime while again making internet favorites look like absolute jokes (Jericho namely), and he was never nearly as good as he was when he was an Internet favorite Austin- I'm not sure the time line of what you mean here Rock- The IWC was ALWAYS split on him Taker- I don't think he's ever really garnered any true hate, outside of when he basically ruined everything Smackdown built in 2009, or when he was godawful in 2000/2001. The latter was his fault for being a lazy bastard, and the former was just blah booking. Internet still didn't really turn on him.

When people wake up and realize he isn't anything special ;)Who can honestly say they would fork over $50+ bucks a month to buy PPV's headlined by this guy?
They might illegally stream but they probably won't spend their own money to watch Ziggler do squat. The only reason he's getting pushed right now is because there is nobody else.
