TNA is booking the product they should be booking right now. they've put aside the idea of WWE castoffs bringing them to the promised land and are now showcasing the guys the fans want to see.

Thread title is redundant, theres been a lot of praise for TNA's direction over the past year There has been, true but there is still a fair bit of LOLTNA that goes on around here. That being said, it's much better here than it is around the rest of the internet. Usually LOLTNA's invoked for stuff that's genuinely stupid, though. While TNA's still had their fair share of THAT over the past year, there's still a lot of entertaining things going on there too.

Up until 2012 I would have agreed. 2011 was full of people saying LOLTNA, and rightfully so but some of it kept going through 2012 for things that didn't really deserve it. Yes you had Claire Lynch and Devon etc. but the LOLTNA's weren't just reserved for the stuff like that. It's just my opinion but I don't feel TNA got its due respect in 2012.

TNA isn't perfect, but it's usually a pretty quality show. One thing they don't get enough credit for is showcasing their roster with only 2 hours of TV a week. It can be hard to do that, especially for novelty divisions like the X-Division and Knockouts where they can only have so much time devoted to it week to week, but I think they do well with what they have.
They are putting more focus on TNA originals and newer acts in general now, which is refreshing. Aries, Joe, Roode, Storm, Styles, Daniels, Morgan, Park/Abyss, Kenny King, etc, are all being featured pretty prominently now, and Hardy is the only "WWE guy" that TNA seems to be putting money into right now as far as a push. It's probably the best balance they have had in a while.

Not to mention, as much as I don't like Hardy, he is probably their most over guy so it's not simply a case of 'he used to be in WWE, lets push him to the moon' it's more like 'wow, he's really popular, lets make him our main guy'.
