I thought about this after reading the Nitro thread about who the third man was.
It was mentioned that really whether or not Taker had considered this, he couldn't take the gimmick with him, so what could WCW do to make it worth it for them and to the Undertaker himself to make the jump?
So say you're the WCW executive given the task of making this work. How would you take an already legendary run(only 6 years at the time) and top it?
And would this have changed history in the long run?

Mean Mark returns to WCW... TONIGHT!
- Tony S
But realistically, they probably make him as much goth like as possible. Or at least with a mysterious gimmick. Just look at the Goldust/Seven gimmick.

Mean Mark returns to WCW... TONIGHT! - Tony S "Fans, we understand that the Undertaker, who wrestled here once as Mean Mark, is going to embark on an undefeated streak at Wrestlemania. Heh, let's see how long that lasts!"

Make the Bikertaker character his WCW identity.
But it's rather unfathomable even thinking of the Undertaker EVER jumping (back) to WCW...

He wouldn't of worked well in WCW I don't think.
What could you of done with him? Well he is marketable (Obviously) but I could of seen WCW not knowing what to do with him and having him do the Bret Hart type of thing, a few half hearted attempts at a main event run and then into Midcard-Upper Midcard for the rest of it.

Just let him be himself... Still my favorite look for him. He just looked like a bad ass that could destroy you.

BikerTaker wouldn't have worked ANYWHERE at that time. It took a gradual evolution of the character to make it work in WWE, starting fresh with it in WCW? Forget it.
Realistically? They would've kept his character as similar as possible without getting sued. I actually could've seen them sticking him in the Blood Runs Cold gimmick...

But he probably would have ended up in graveyard matches with Vampiro.

Well, I have to agree that he likely been more American Badass. Just sooner and would it have worked? Maybe. The issue I think was more not allowed to be called the Undertaker. But he could still had a similar look and character. Much like Curt Hennig did. Or Scott Hall. I mean Hall talked the same tone and way he did as Razor. Henning look just he did as Mister Perfect.
So you find a name for him and you can kinda use his late 96/97 look.

The Overgiver. when the music hits, the lights in the arena get REALLY bright. he walks out in a white outfit and then when he gets to the ring he slowly dims them back to the normal level. all of his feuds are based on the fact that he's way too nice and always buying people gifts they don't need or want.

That's funny and I LOL'd, but Nash is one guy Taker probably would have no problems jobbing to under any circumstance... they were close friends around that time.

The character had already run its course, thus the introduction of Kane.... Saying the jump in character couldn't be made is like saying he's a shoot dead guy who used to be a zombie western mortician. No one believes that, and Razor Ramon magically became Scott Hall while keeping some of the Razor mannerisms, why not Mean Mark with some of the Undertaker mannerisms.

I don't think it would've saved WCW or anything but I see him as possibly being one of the top guys, certainly having a World Champion run or two. Unless politics sank him in a quagmire, I think his biggest influence would be as a mentor for a lot of young up and coming guys. And, you never know, maybe he would've "taped his fists" in response to some of the stupider WCW moves.
