You can never overshadow Punk. It's not as good as SES CM Punk, but he is trying really damn hard to get people to hate him. I love it. Thanks. Punk would be difficult to overshadow, but he and Heyman do have good chemistry though.

It really does seem forced. I still love Punk, but since his heel turn he's going all cheap heat and started botching on the mic. And I think the reason it seems forced, because well,it IS forced. Rock is returning and they needed Punk as the heel for the match.

I will admit that he's a lot more unlikable now than he was back at the start of his turn. Before, I was just bored with him. So to me that means the heel run has worked.

I think Punk's been better than ever during this heel run. He and Heyman were made for each other, IMO. They go together like mashed potatoes and gravy. I want Punk to start coming out with a gravy boat and drink it before his matches and then after he wins he dumps the rest on his opponent's head

honestly, he's about 90% of the reason why I tune in each week. even though his current character isn't terribly compelling, the guy is just so good at his job, I'm interested whenever he is on screen. so much of the three hour content each week is easy to skip with DVR but I never fail to watch his segments. his current injury seems like a throwback to the 90's. it's awesome to see a champ walking around on crutches and still talking trash. he's been mostly saying the same things every week since early last month, but whatever, him and Heyman together is gold.
outside of the relatively brief Nexus run, it's probably his least interesting heel period but it's good enough to keep me interested. the long title run is a huge bonus, also. i just hope they play it right and when the time comes, it's deserved. i really, really do not want to see a - say - 500+ day run end with Cena picking up the belt. that's a nightmarish thought.

I'm not a fan of it. It just comes across as so forced with him using such blatant cheap heat attempts to get a reaction.
It's obvious the crowd doesn't want to boo him so why try and force it? Turn him face... but not Cena-Lite as he was in the latter part of his face run... but as the rebellious, anti-establishment face he was when he first turned.
