To follow-up on the other thread about ice cream bars, how is it that in the context of kayfabe the WWE hasn't reached any of the demands CM Punk set in place? It looks bad on him as a character when he says the first thing he's going to do is get rid of the current WWE title and then holds it for over a year. Not to mention all the "change" he wanted to take place. I guess there was nowhere else to go with his character but to turn him heel at this point because as a face he hasn't really made much of a revolution in WWE. I don't know, I'm really just butthurt that we're still having to look at the spinner is all, really..

I'd love it if he would actually start enforcing that contract to the letter now as part of this heel run. Have vignettes of him in his private jet talking over the plot for CM Punk: The Movie with Heyman surrounded by shitloads of prototype CM Punk merchandise.

I think the implication is supposed to be that he was never serious about bringing change, he just wanted himself in the title picture.

When was it said in kayfabe that he didn't get the private jet? I just assumed he was supposed to have gotten most of his demands after he re-signed.

I think the implication is supposed to be that he was never serious about bringing change, he just wanted himself in the title picture. He also brought change however, it's just never actually attributed to him and was quickly dismissed for the status quo. He was the reason Vince went nuts and the Board removed him and put Triple H in charge. It was his problems with Triple H that caused Triple H to fire Miz and Truth which led to the walkout and Johnny Ace. It was Punk who caused Ace to either show his true colors or go mad (depending on your view) and then pick a fight with Cena and get fired by Vince bringing us Vince and AJ.

He was just posturing. He settled for much less.
