I don't like the segments just because ideally I don't want to know when anyone is coming out. What they SHOULD bring back is the quick 10-15-second promos in front of the green screen that we used to get in the late 80s/early 90s from just about every person in the match. YES! When they did these back in the early 90s, it honestly made it feel like ANYONE could win, unlike these days where only three or four people seem like they have a chance because they're the only ones with any build-up.

I still remember watching the guys drawing the balls on WWF Mania. It was such fun! You never knew what number they got, but it let you know some of the Rumble participants early. That was so awesome back in the day. I remember one year, Bastion Booger got excited and accidentally blurted out his number (28). Jack Tunney made him draw again because, apparently, no one was allowed to know another wrestler's entrant number.

When they did these back in the early 90s, it honestly made it feel like ANYONE could win, unlike these days where only three or four people seem like they have a chance because they're the only ones with any build-up. yep agree with everything said here. lottery ball skits are entertaining but i don't like to know when people come out. like in 05 we knew it would be Eddie at 1 and Flair at 30. And in 06 we knew it would be HHH at 1, Mysterio at 2, and Orton at 30.
