I might be in the minority, but I think it's time for him to move on. Unless he's doing it solely for the money and to be able to ride in Punk's bus yacht.

The problem with Kofi is that WWE won't give him a real push or promo time, but they'll treat him like the god of the midcard who is above every other midcard face. And because of this, no other midcard face (actual midcard, not someone bumped down from the main event like Miz) is booked anywhere near as credible as Kofi is, and he just continues to rack up midcard title reigns over and over when other deserving talent could be given a run with any of the titles.
The likes of Tyson Kidd, Justin Gabriel, Trent Barreta, Alex Riley, Santino Marella, Zack Ryder, and Brodus Clay all deserve to be booked at Kofi's level of credibility to create a much deeper midcard. Guys like Riley, Clay, and Kidd could put on solid TV matches against main event heels like Big Show, Punk, or Ziggler, losing in spectacular fashion, but Kofi is the only one who is allowed this privilege.

Pretty much Kofi is god of the mid-card. Hopefully when Ziggler officially gets a main title Kofi will evolve as well considering they bring the best out of each other.

He was there to put over Big Show's KO Punch. Nothing more.
It's not a burial.

They may have had to shorten the match due to the punk/rock segment.

No matter who the WWE put in that position, we'd STILL be getting the obligatory "OMGZ! _____ IZ BURRIEDZ!" thread afterwards.
Isn't the general consensus that Kofi's talented but uber bland and is occupying a spot someone else could be getting? If so, why the fuss because he got jobbed out?

The people who don't care for himdon't like that he's taking a spot from someone else, and the people who are actually fans of the guy would argue that if the match was only going to be a squash, someone else lower on the card should've been used to get knocked out by Show anyway instead of making someone they like look weak.

I don't know what happened. It's as if he won the title and then people stopped caring about him for the most part. He's hardly exceptional, so one of the joys of watching him, was how the crowd rallied behind him. Without that, he's fairly bland.
Combined with his unironic, unfunny pride over picking his nose on WWE Inbox, I have to say I've soured on him in recent months.

He deserves it for being an idiot and not picking someone like Mae Young to defend his IC title against.

I kind of wonder if the final excising of all the last vestiges of his Jamaican gimmick, plus the new nickname, are part of the slow road to a heel turn. His new tron graphics certainly look a lot more heelish. But that might just be wishful thinking.

Didn't he beat Tensai in like 10 seconds a few weeks back? I think. But, you know, it was Tensai and.... Yeah.

I laughed... hard.
I can't stand Kofi Kingston. It's about time he became a jobber; I mean, how many midcard and tag title runs has he had... yet has had no memorable moments in any of them. He sucks and it's about time he got bunged down the card and let someone else step up as a the midcard babyface.

Maybe one of the agents cut the match at the last second, realizing how much time was left on the show as the CM Punk/Rock segment was more focal.
