Every year it's painfully obvious it's gonna be 1 of 3 guys. The other 27 are just there.
Having someone unexpected winning it would add an element of 'anything could happen' that the Rumble would REALLY benifit from

Having someone unexpected winning it would add an element of 'anything could happen' that the Rumble would REALLY benifit from Agreed. I also think that Winning the Rumble Match should be a star making accomplishment in itself regardless of whether they win the belt or not, and regardless of whether they're a permanent main eventer or not. I mean, someone like an Alex Riley should be able to win the Rumble, challenge for the WWE Championship, lose, go back to midcarding, but still have the Rumble win on his resume to give him credibility even if he never wins any championship. Even if he doesn't become the face of the company, he still has a moment in the spotlight. Or someone like Santino should win the rumble, challenge for the WWE Championship, get that big moment of winning the belt. Maybe he loses it at Extreme Rules, or maybe he carries the title for a few months, maybe he starts the new boom period. Either way it would be something refreshing and exciting. We get something fresh instead of the same old same old, even if only for a little while. Also, I feel that if you treat the RR, MiTB, and KOTR as big achievements, rather than just a plot device, or then you won't need to have two major titles, one of which is obviously a crutch and a lazy way to say "hey, we're building stars" at this point.

Spot on.

I want Brock in the Rumble. I want him to go on a killing streak and them whoever eliminates him to be his Mania feud. It should be a plucky young babyface, like Guerrero, someone who eliminates him by fluke, and then Brock destroys them at ringside.

Who are you to doubt Heath Slater?! I want Brock in the Rumble. I want him to go on a killing streak and them whoever eliminates him to be his Mania feud. It should be a plucky young babyface, like Guerrero, someone who eliminates him by fluke, and then Brock destroys them at ringside. I like this idea and I think the perfect person for this is Bryan, with a David vs Goliath NODQ match at Mania between Bryan vs Lesnar. Ideally I would have the comedy part of his character is decreased from Rumble onwards, its been great but I really do miss his intensity that he had in the indys and it adds another persona/character/dimension to him.

I feel like it's either Orton or Ryback.

The Rock wins the title from CM Punk before the Rumble match with help from the Shield. Cena and Sheamus are the last two. The Shield comes down and try's to take out Cena but Ryback who was eliminated earlier by the Shield comes out and stops them. Cena eliminates Sheamus and we find out that The Rock was behind the Shield the whole time so that he could be the one to beat CM Punk and nobody else and didn't want to fight Cena again.

I think Ryback will win and face Big Show for the World Title at Wrestlemania.
