Part of the other side of the Wrestlemania Truck. Why Layla? She hasn't been popular with fans in almost two years and she doesn't even have the title. Kaitlyn would've made a lot more sense.

Me too. This is why I keep saying SmackDown should become the new NXT Redemption, since it's already the B-show and less important than RAW (and nowadays Main Event) anyway.

Smackdown's always been the B show, but there's no reason why it needs to be turned into a joke like NXT Redemption.

Smackdown's always been the B show, but there's no reason why it needs to be turned into a joke like NXT Redemption. Since all the big names on SmackDown show up on RAW anyway, draft them to RAW officially and let SmackDown be the platform for the undercard to get over and have their own feuds/storylines. That was the appeal of NXT Redemption, is that low carders got mic time and promo time. The weird comedy was just a bonus. The RAW Roster would consist of CM Punk, Alberto Del Rio, John Cena, the Special Attraction guys, Sheamus, Team Hell No, Big Show, The Miz, Dolph Ziggler, The Shield, Ryback, Randy Orton and certain midcarders like Rey Mysterio, Sin Cara, Rhodes Scholars, Jack Swagger, Kofi, R-Truth, and Tensai A SmackDown roster would feature Alex Riley, Antonio Cesaro, Brodus Clay, Curt Hawkins, Hunico & Camacho, The Prime Time Players, David Otunga, 3MB, the Colons, Santino, Yoshi, Tyson Kidd, Justin Gabriel, Big Zeke, Mason Ryan, Khali and Hornswoggle, the Usos, Johnny Curtis, Derrick Bateman, Percy Watson, Evan Bourne. If RAW and SD are to be treated as "brands" they should offer something different. RAW is the big ticket show where all the drama and action is. SD is the show where all the fun is. - Santino and Yoshi would do the same stuff they did on Foreign Exchange - Zack Ryder can be more like his Z! True Long Island Story persona. - And using SmackDown this way can be helpful to the main eventers too. If main eventers make "special guest appearances" on SD, then they can just relax instead of taking themselves too seriously. - Dolph Ziggler can be more like his WWE Download persona. - The Miz can make special appearances, and MizTV can be kept confined as an SD staple. And all the corny stuff that everyone hates about The Miz can be confined to SmackDown. - John Cena can be in Poopy mode 24/7 on SmackDown, but be SRS on RAW. - Team Hell No can keep the comedy skits confined to SmackDown, but be serious on RAW. - Sheamus can be the arse, arse fella guy on SmackDown, but be the ass kicking brawler on RAW. Again, all the stuff that everyone hates about Sheamus can be confined to SD. - Christian can be Captain Charisma on SD, but be the solid worker we know and love on RAW

Smackdown would then start to lose viewers until SyFy takes them off the air. It would then become an online show for a while until even that gets taken off because so few fans even bother to watch online exclusive shows. All this for what, being different? I don't see the point.

I don't see the point. Some of the undercarders I listed are over with casual fans and actually get reactions. Plus main event talent would still show up every week. They'd just be advertised "special guest stars" rather than featured regulars. And since Kane & Daniel Bryan are the current tag champions, they're kayfabe allowed on both brands even with the brand split, so they can help carry the show.

AWWWW man, I'm pumped! If Rock keeps coming back that many times, eventually the "I'm Here and You're Not" argument will become invalid.
