(also that's convenient seeing as his real theme sounds so boring that even the singer is falling asleep) I'll have to try that in a bit. For now, though, just added Oh Puerto Rico for Primo and In the Air Tonight (starting up at around 3:30 in) for Tyson. |

So, Mysterio returned from an injury for an IC title match at a PPV (Which he'd become No.1 Contender for before his injury), went for a springboard, got caught into a Tombstone and is now injured again. REALISM! This is too good to get no sold, I must have laughed at this for five minutes.. |

Had a weird glitch today, Zack Ryder won the Royal Rumble (simmed it WWWYKI), when it came to choosing his WM opponent, Cena/Show, I watched at ringside, entered the ring, I hit Show (despite being a Raw Superstar), nothing happened, then Zack Ryder came running down as if he'd regularly interfered, other Ryder disappeared, I nailed Show with 2 Rough Ryders, then the cutscene happens indicating Ryder has chosen Show for WM
That happened to anyone else?
If you care.. Ryder went on to become World Champ (I played it), lost it back to Show at Capitol Punishment (simmed), where that night, he also won the WWE Title (simmed)
But he quickly lost it.
Now he's falling down the ranks again, I sim most of his matched and he still does well, defeated Kane several times

In keeping with real life, I turned Del Rio face and for the heck of it, I'm doing a Armageddon Hell in a Cell defense against Henry, Edge, Big Show, Orton and Sheamus. One thing struck me during the entrances, that being: DAMN, his title entrance works really well with a face character!

That damned Loose Cannon, Pillman, is going into business for himself in his match with Undertaker. He just keeps throwing Taker out of the ring, and hip tossing him right back in from the apron, obsessively! He's making the champ look bad!

How are you guys playing in Universe? Do you play every match, just championships, do you have only certain guys you play, or does it depend on what matches Universe sets up? Just curious because it sounds like some of you are years into Universe, I play quite frequently and haven't really gotten anywhere.

So, it's impossible to use the O'Connor Roll Leverage Pin. Your character just spins them around and then does nothing.
EDIT: Or just doesn't work on The Undertaker? Had him on a red body, got nothing, did it on a fresh Big Show and it's all good?

Just curious because it sounds like some of you are years into Universe, I play quite frequently and haven't really gotten anywhere. I was trying to play everything and it really dragged. Now, I push one or two people/stables specifically per show, and it really speeds things up by only playing those matches. If the character doesn't have a match already booked, I set them up against the person above them in the ranking and move them up that way. On regular shows I do like WWE and the person getting the push usually always gets a win and I play it on Quick for a squash. On PPVs, I play it as Epic to actually make it challenging. For tag teams, since Universe has a habit of ignoring teams and booking them separate or with other people, I rebook the show to put them together. |
