That has to be surreal for the guy. I mean, he hitchhikes down to MSG to watch a match that would end up driving his ambition to get into the business.
Decades later, he's being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in the very same building. Pretty awesome for Mick.

Great news, I hope they let him off wearing a tux though. That has to be surreal for the guy. He's annoyed me a bit in recent appearances but he's one of my favourites. Absolutely deserves to headline a HOF class and I can't wait to hear his speech.

Awesome. Very fitting that it takes place in MSG. Let the speculation begin on who inducts him, be it Terry Funk or The Rock. I think WWE will want it to be The Rock.
It will be interesting if Shane Douglas is in attendance as I think I remember Shane saying he'd like to be there for Mick when he gets inducted. I think Shane recently worked with WWE for an interview about Mick Foley, so I wouldn't rule it out.

There's a number of people who could induct him Terry Funk being the most obvious and Jimmy Snuka being the most ironic.

i hope this is true, but i won't believe it till the offical wwe announcement. newspapers have been wrong about wrestling before. the daily news stated that sting signed with the wwe in 2011 "according to sources"
