VALKYRIE formed on the SHINE 6 iPPV last night, the new stable consists of Rain, Allysin Kay, Taylor Made, April Hunter and Ivelisse (the former Sofia Cortez from NXT). They cost Amazing Kong her main event match against Mercedes Martinez, and then destroyed the entire roster, leaving Martinez alone. The mystery is if Martinez is a member of this group. They've got both Shield and BDK qualities about them...
Also, Matt Hardy was a guest on the show, supporting his girlfriend Reby Sky in her match with Jessicka Havok. J-Hav put Sky in the Rings of Saturn, and Hardy threw in the towel for Sky, so interesting words to be had here. Interesting that Hardy appeared here, given that SHIMMER has only had one man ever appear on their shows, and that was the late Larry Sweeney. This sucks a fat one in comparison to that.

Sounds awesome, does anyone have a video of it? I wouldn't be happy if there was. It was iPPV, you gotta go to WWNLive.com and pay for it.

I hope SHINE is not resorting to using a WWE has-been to drum up more interest. Heard they had to drop the price of the iPPV to get more people to buy.

They didn't - in fact, on the day of the show, they put each price point up $5.

Yes, because God forbid the promotion, or even it's fans, put up a short clip that's a fraction of the entire event to try to promote the promotion & get people talking & interested. Maybe even drawing in new fans that order the event, curious to see what this place is all about based on that clip. If that's the only thing worth purchasing off of the event, SHINE's in trouble.

Fact is, few fans probably care about the crap that was pulled a few years ago. I was tired of even thinking about it, but I put on ROH today seeing it was carried here, and the first thing that popped up was a promo about Matt Hardy and I instantly felt repulsed and changed the channel. Majority of people won't feel that way. If they did, these promotions would stop paying them outrageous fees to appear.

A guy like Matt Hardy wouldn't be that expensive to bring in. At least compared to actors and others who were on an incredibly popular TV program for 10 years (If not longer)
If it helps the promotion in question sell more PPV's it's a solid investment.

I know her match wasn't awesome, but the one thing SHINE did was make me a Kimberly fan.
Well that, and she wrestled alligators in Swamp Brothers.

If you are relying on Matt Hardy to drum up interest, you might want to change your strategy. Dude is considered box office poison.

To say they were upset would have be a great understatement. Highly doubt promotions is paying Matt top dollar to appear at events.

Why would SHINE do something like that? Seems like a bad business move. Actually, most promotions have cheaper tickets if purchased in advance than if purchased on the day of the show. It encourages advance ticket sales (which can be put to use by the promotion for added advertising, etc. prior to the event). Encouraging iPPV pre-orders by having the price cheaper prior to the day of the event is the same idea.

The WWF and the NWA did it back in the '80s with their PPVs. If you ordered the day of the event, it would cost you an extra $5.
