I wouldn't say "ruined" but I agree with just about every post in this thread. I tend to associate ppv and special entrance themes with WWE if they are used enough. I would like to add "My Way" by Limp Bizkit to WM 17 and "I Dare You" by Shinedown to WM 22

'Metalingus' by Alter Bridge. It became so synonymous with Edge that I can't listen to it without thinking of Edge Me too, though it didn't really ruin the song for me. I would have never known it existed unless I watched wrestling, and I love that song.

Ever since 2010 I can't hear "Livin' On A Prayer" without thinking of "WOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH OHHHHHHH! YOU'RE ONLY SMOKE AND MIRRORS!". I'm glad I'm not the only one who made that connection, though maybe a ton of people have.

I've got to agree on Cult of Personality. When Punk made his return it was an awesome moment and the song fit so well into the scenario. A year later it's just so stale, I'm tired of hearing it.

"Get Through This" by Art of Dying. Otherwise known as the other NXT song outside of "Wild and Young" when NXT had its old format. Funny thing is, I remember this song getting some good radio play on my local Alt Rock station back in 2007. Now, anytime it comes on, I associate it with the early NXT seasons.

It feels weird to hear Cult of Personality without the static now to me. And I remember, I was a fan of Alter Bridge already, then when Edge came out to Metalingus, he instantly became my favourite wrestler, and stayed up there until he retired.

MGK - Invincible. Just like that Ladies and Gentleman song I swear WWE used it first or was the first to really market the hell out of that song. Plus that song reminds me of what could of been of a epic Cena heel turn. I loved the video packages Cena had with that song since there was that little cynical hint at the end Cena may snap and turn heel. Oh what could of been.

Ladies and Gentlemen by Saliva. Because WWE was the first to use the song, then everyone else seemingly used it. I'm sure I've read that Saliva wrote the song for WrestleMania. I think in most cases, when WWE uses a song I can never shake that association from my mind. I wouldn't say it ruins songs though. Take 'My Way' by Limp Bizkit. I love it because it reminds me of WrestleMania X7, probably my favourite event from my favourite time watching wrestling.

I don't remember if LEAVE THE MEMORIES ALOOOOONE evoked many emotions out of me before, but for some reason I just associate it with an over the top farewell now.

Ironically, until I got my WrestleMania 22 DVD, I never listened to "Big Time". Of course, whenever I listen to it, I now imagine "so much larger than life" being Chris Masters standing up and Foley and Edge going through that burning table instead of a weird-looking Gabriel puppet (though I do recommend watching that music video).
Admittingly, I sometimes put one of those DVDs in just to listen to most of the song.

vote 3 for "My Way" by Limp Bizkit... anytime any of my freinds and I hear it, we always yell "Stone Cold! Stone Cold!" in our best JR impression..

Nothing. WWE has the worst taste in music, other than Jim Johnston. I literally cannot recall one time where they didn't have some corny, middle-of-the-road rock band involved musically usually as a PPV theme or whatever. Its all been crap.

Whatever by Our Lady Peace, Benoit's theme. Still like the band but the song is hard to listen to.

"Power to the People" due to it's overuse on the people's choice episode of Raw, and "Family Tradition" because of Stone Cold karaoke.
