Basically a guy who i used to hang around with daily from the ages of 13-16 and still occasionally run into/ have a drink with is attempting to walk from Beijing to London and document it along the way via social media, whilst also writing a book and creating a documentary. The local newspapers have already ran articles on it and provided (hopefully) he stays safe this should be very interesting to keep up on. What do you guys think? www.liverpoolecho.co.uk/liverpool-n...00252-32591873/michaelleejohnson.com/

Walk back and forth on a ferry or something? Maybe he'll use London Bridge? Sometimes I wonder if Jesus would do the water walk thing despite having adequate alternate means to cross rivers. It's like, "Yeah, that's cool and all Jesus, but you could have just used the bridge."

"Jesus, you literally could have saved 10 minutes by taking the stairs, but you HAVE to show off by walking across the water don't you? Dick."

......would he walk thru the Chunnel? That's his plan. He recons that they have let a couple of people do it before and that if he makes it and his plight picks up enough steam he would have a better chance of being allowed to do it,

I've always wondered what the longest distance anybody could walk was without having to take a boat over a body of water. I would assume the western tip of Spain to the eastern tip of Russia (or even North America, if they cross the Bearing Sea in winter).

Walk back and forth on a ferry or something? Maybe he'll use London Bridge? But it's not even structurally sound. Damn thing's always falling down.

I mean, I'd be pissed if I walked all the way only to be told to piss off by some pissy French guard.

In the blog posting, he put his idea for what the safest route might be... I'm sorry, but I would be avoiding any country that ended in "-istan" and staying as far away from Iran as I could. I'm sure the people are nice but the governments "don't take kindly to strangers around these parts".

I would assume the western tip of Spain to the eastern tip of Russia (or even North America, if they cross the Bearing Sea in winter). The Bering Sea doesn't freeze over, so it wouldn't be as simple as walking. Not to mention that crossing national borders that way is pretty shifty, from a legal standpoint.
