Needs the following pins: - High Speed (and its sequel, The Getaway: HS2)
- Black Knight 2000
- Flash
- Banzai Run (Pat Lawlor's first game)
- Earthshaker
- Fish Tales
- White Water
The more popular licensed tables (T2, Addams, Indiana Jones) are definitely a no-go, while with The Getaway, Party Zone, and Road Show, they'll have to secure the licenses for the music. The fact that the really big tables can't be replicated in this game sucks (this also goes with the original Simpsons arcade machine, which won a few awards). The only issue with The Getaway, I believe, is that you may have to work a little bit with getting the rights to using La Grange, which allured me to the table.

By the way, has anyone here played both Pinball Arcade and Visual Pinball or Future Pinball? I'd like to know how it compares to the two main pinball simulators for PC out there.

Since its been brought up a few times, I should let you guys know that Terminator 2 is scheduled to be the next Kickstarter project (they do this to cover massive license fees, like with Twilight Zone and Star Trek TNG). Also I've heard that after T2, the one after that will be The Simpsons. Whether it's the original from 1990 or Pinball Party from 2003, I'm not sure.

I only have one opportunity to make my 4,000th post, and I'm gonna make it worth my while. The fact that EITHER ONE of The Simpsons pinball games could end up on this... makes me so happy.

Table Pack 14, which will be released for iOS in a few days
Also, there might be good news for 360 owners soon. It's not guaranteed, but something good may be announced in the upcoming days.

So 3 things:
1. Got a PS3? Got the base game free and want more? Farsight has announced the Season 1 Bundle. The first 8 table packs, the 2 premium tables and the custom Twilight Zone & Star Trek: TNG balls can be bought all together for $29.99. For an extra $10, you can get the Pro bundle, which gives you Pro versions of Tales of the Arabian Nights, Medieval Madness, Scared Stiff, Twilight Zone, Attack from Mars and Star Trek: The Next Generation. The Pro Upgrade gives you access to the Operator’s Menu, the ability to move the ball around the table at will, a mode that allows you to have your camera travel around the table, and tips on playing the table from IFPA pinball pros.
2. Got a Xbox 360? Still waiting for the DLC? Farsight announced that once everything is settled, they will have discount packs so it'll be easier for you to catch up to everything.
3. In their newsletter, Farsight gave a hint on the next Table Pack: After being told that he was going to be Table of the Month, the normally cool Dr. Dude spun out the front door to the local tavern. This has lead people to believe that the next pack will be Whirlwind and Champion Pub.

Great to hear about the 360 and PC. Hopefully they come sooner than later.

Sorry for the triple post, but more news The Kickstarter for the T2 has officially begun! Help Farsight preserve this table by giving a hand. Minimum donation is $1: www.kickstarter.com/projects/1067367405/pinball-arcade-terminator-2-judgment-dayAnd good news, bad news. Bad news: According to the description, the next table that's going to have a kickstarter campaign will NOT be The Simpsons as previously rumored. The good news? It's going to be The Addams Family!

I really hope that The Simpsons will be done in the future. Also, because of who they work with, the pinball machine they would be emulating would most likely be the Simpsons Pinball Party (2003), and not the classic Data East version (1991), just so you all know. But... the most coveted of all pinball machines will be added to the list, and that is great news.

The add-ons for the 360 version have been taken down. Reason right now is unknown.

I really wish they wouldn't have done Champion Pub.
I don't like that table at all.
T2 is great news, though. I'd asked Farsight about that table way back when the Twlight Zone kickstarter was up, and they'd said it was one of the ones they wanted to do most, so I'm glad to see they're making the attempt. More Steve Ritchie tables are always a great thing.

im really curious how much it would be to get the Guns n' Roses pinball made, i imagine they would have to work out a deal with every member of the band since their images are on the table. and they would have to acquire the song "aint goin down" which was an exclusive for the pinball machine which may be a combo of getting the rights to it from Axl/Izzy and obtaining the master from Slash/Duff.
is the 70's KISS pinball machine on this? i imagine Gene would have already given the OK for it.

- Paramount: Film rights
- MGM: Addams Family theme song
- Raul Julia's estate and Anjelica Huston: Likeness and voice rights
- Rest of the actors (Christopher Lloyd, Christina Ricci, etc.): Likeness rights
