Is Bray Wyatt still injured? If so how long is he out for?

My money's on Kruger to win this. He's been on the road in dark matches more, seems like it's his time to get the callup.

They've moved the fan fest indoors, as it's raining pretty badly in Phoenix.

I don't really follow NXT anymore so I'm just plain surprised to find out Conor O'Brian's still under WWE contract. I would've though they would've dropped him after his disasterous "Ratboy" thing he did a few years back.

It would make sense to give the opportunity to a guy who has spent a lot of time in developmental, like Conor O'Brien, Bo Dallas or Leo Kruger. It's a nice reward, and a PPV check after all.
Although I'd love to see Neville in there.

Four NXT Divas are also in Phoenix for the Fan Fest - Paige, Emma, Summer Rae and Sasha Banks.

I've never liked the "Winner headlines wrestlemania" stip to the Rumble because it eliminates 90-95% of the field from having any hope of winning, but man, watching that NXT tournament promo and all those guys talking about "headlining wrestlemania" make the whole thing even more ridiculous.
It would take a major re-education of expectations, but I wish things like The Royal Rumble and the King of the Ring tournament could be championships themselves. They're just a different type of championship, an annual championship event, as opposed to a continuously defended championship. Like almost every other championship in sports - the Super Bowl, Wimbledon, the Master's, etc. The Rumble could be its own championship like that, and like golf tournaments, there's different ways to get in - you can be a current title-holder, a former Rumble Champion or runner-up, a top ranked contender, winner of an NXT tournament, whatever. In that environment, it would be possible to have a surprising outcome like an NXT guy rising up and winning it one year.

All the hate towards Bo Dallas on this board makes me want to see him win and enter the Rumble. So your BOdy is ready for him to be in the RumBO?

In that environment, it would be possible to have a surprising outcome like an NXT guy rising up and winning it one year. I do wish that Royal Rumble, King of the Ring, and Money in the Bank were championships in their own right. I don't mind the title shot stipulation, but I feel it would be nice if every once in a while, a midcarder won these contests, got a title shot, lost in spectacular fashion, went back to the midcard, but still had the Rumble, KoTR or MiTB victory on their resume to give them credibility. I think that if they did this, WWE wouldn't need two World Titles to keep their main eventers relevant. I don't mind the whole title shot at WrestleMania thing, but I would like to see someone other than an established star win every once in a while. Sometimes the Rumble match can build new stars, other times it should be used to break the monotony and give a title shot to a guy who otherwise wouldn't get one, but this should only be done when the Mania card is likely to be stacked, like it will be this year. I feel that if they're bringing back all these past stars, it allows leeway with to give someone unexpected a world title match without hurting the buyrate. Since John Cena's match, The Rock's match, The Undertaker's match, Brock Lesnar's match, or God forbid Triple H's match would all probably main event over the WWE Championship anyway, I don't think having a low carder challenge for the WWE Title would hurt. You could even tie their lower status into CM Punk's respect angle. Like have Punk complaining about how he isn't going to get his "rightful spot in the main event because he's stuck fighting some random nobody". Even if winning is a long shot and wouldn't realistically win the title, it would be nice for him to have the moment of going toe to toe with the WWE Champion, putting on a hard fought contest only to job in spectacular fashion.

They did three without the stip and Hogan won two of them.

I'm pretty good about seeing what other people see in wrestlers and trying to understand why someone is where they are, but Bo Dallas really is one of those guys where I'm like "Come on, am I missing something?" Bo got the body, Bray got everything else.
Xavier Woods is Consequence Creed from TNA right? I'm surprised he has been in development so long, the guy can really go and he would be a great hand in the midcard.
Obligatory New Nation as well.

From what I understand one of the main reasons he's still in NXT is that he was working on getting his Ph.D. and now that he's got it, it's only a matter of time before he moves on to the main roster.

"Conor O'Brien advances" - so is it Neville, Kruger, Dallas and O'Brien in the semis, or what? WWE is writing this all weird.
