Why? He loved it so much, he was crying. Don't embrace the hate.

I read the thread title as "Kevin Nash." Wouldn't mind hearing that.

Are there any news ones that haven't been laboriously pointed out for months now?

Why? He loved it so much, he was crying. Don't embrace the hate. To be fair, in that video in the OP, it's more Ralph Garman who is the more critical one. Smith just appears to be going along with him here. I read the thread title as "Kevin Nash." Wouldn't mind hearing that. Bane's a vanilla midget.

I don't really have time to listen to something for an hour and 36 minutes. By all means Kevin Smith has the right to talk about The Dark Knight Rises and its plotholes at great length and through the power of the internet, he can get thousands of people to listen to him. That doesn't really change the fact that The Dark Knight Rises was an enormous success at the box office and it was well-received with both critics and audiences. Most viewers of the film did not come away from it thinking that it contained plotholes. Certainly most viewers would not be able to spend over 90 minutes speaking about its plotholes.
The truth is, The Dark Knight Rises is a fantasy film. In fact, Nolan and the filmmakers went to great lengths to make this series less fantastical than other comic book superhero films. Still, it is a fantasy. Almost since the beginning of moving pictures there have been some viewers and critics who seek for the plausible and point out the fantastical elements in film. Most people do not think so critically of films and enjoy the fantastical elements. Most audiences don't want something very realistic and plausible. Consider that fantasy films make much more money than documentaries.
I think Kevin Smith is someone whose own artistic or creative reputation has drastically fallen over the past decade. It has certainly fallen for him as a filmmaker. This is not true of Christopher Nolan whose reputation as a filmmaker remains high.

On a related note, Kevin Smith wishes his movies made as much as the Batman films

On a related note, Kevin Smith wishes his movies made as much as the Batman films I'm certain he does. ITT: People take comments made on a comedic podcast a bit too seriously.

On a related note, Kevin Smith wishes his movies made as much as the Batman films I don't know about Bitter Old Kevin Smith, but Young Talented Kevin Smith was only concerned that his movies made more than they cost, which they usually did.

If I was Kevin Smith, I'd be more worried about the plot holes in my comics...like the whole of the plot of the mini-series he gave up on after one issue, Daredevil: The Target.

Or that one with Daredevil where he thought he was taking care of the Anti-Christ. Good grief that was stupid and heavily contributed to my really low opinion on Daredevil in general.

I read the thread title as "Kevin Nash." Wouldn't mind hearing that. I read the thread title and wondered what plot holes there were in Donkey Kong (country) Returns.

I've read some s***ty Batman comics in my day, but no s***tier than Kevin Smith's. The dude doesn't have any room to talk. Yeah, I can't say I've enjoyed most of his comics. About the only realm I enjoy Kevin Smith in is SModcast. He and Scott Mosier are pretty funny together.
