If he's being abusive,you need to bolt. Plus,you say more than usual so I'm guessing this isn't something new. If he's abusive,you need to just sever ties. I know you have feelings for him but there is no excuse for being abusive. I would definitely leave if I were you. You have to consider your own well being.

I'll echo everyone's opinion and get out and to a safe place, preferably a hotel or some other place with as much people as possible so he can't find you easily. Even if he's not to the point of going after you to try and attack you, it's always better safe than sorry with abusers.
Also, go to the police as soon as you can, domestic abuse is one of the most despicable and cowardly things a human being can do to another. You're supposed to protect the people you love, not take advantage of their weaknesses.

Obviously there's not much way for us to know what level of danger this situation is at, but absolutely leave, and if you think there's any chance that he's crazy enough to follow you with violent intent, make the police station your first stop and call your loved ones to let them know where you are and why you left. If he calls them or shows up at their doorstep, they're to hang up on him and call the police, respectively. Avoid a confrontation when you go, if at all possible (ie, it's best if he doesn't realize you're leaving/leaving for good until you're already gone). Don't give him a chance to engage in further harm or manipulation.
I probably sound kind of alarmist here, but I'm with Ssnakebite on this one... it's hard to tell what an abuser will do when they don't get their way, so please take precautions. But definitely get out.

I do plan on leaving i just can't now because I don't have the money, but i know EXACTLY where I am going that will make me feel safe
