I just hope the sequel is a little brighter. I was confused in the first movie whether I was watching NYC or Gotham City. Ya, I enjoyed the first flick but it was really dark for a Spider-Man flick

Looks awesome
Although, I prefer green and yellow suit wearing Electro than his blue design but 'eh, still looks good. And was that Vulture's wings I spied? Hope he crops up as a villain in the next movie. I'm a mark for Vulture.

Doc Ock's tentacles are in the movie! Look at 1:14.

Haven't been following this too closely, are they doing the Sinister Six in this? Seems like a villain overload in this unless it's spanning 2 flicks or something.

Ah thanks, is that Ultimate Rhino version? When I first heard he was going to be in it I just assumed it would be the normal version/costume, even if it would be harder to transition to making it look good for the movie medium (I don't know everything about the characters history, but the version and look I know best is from the animated series)

Looks cool, but why does Harry Osborn sound like the villain from Time Chasers?
"But what of the fate of Gencorp Oscorp?"

I'm just looking forward to even more of Andrew Garfield being pitch perfect as Spider-Man. Everything else is a bonus.

Well, this movie looks damn awesome. Just...everything about it.
Seriously looking forward to it.
Also, I REALLY love that Spidey's got the big eyes for this one. I've always loved bigger eyes on the mask. My personal favorite is the McFarlane design, but eyes THAT big certainly wouldn't translate to the screen very well.

ok some of the CG in this ad is really bad.
I'm assuming it's not fully finished but... some of it is pretty rough.

I think the main premise that this sequel is setting up is in fact all of the villains (sans Curt Connors and Electro) apparently already exist in some way, shape or form (Doc Ock's tentacles). If that is the case, this is a refreshing change of pace from devoting a ton of screen time to how each villain ends up being created.
I still say that this is leading to Spider Man joining up with the Avengers, and the true reason for the death of Peter's parents is that they were going to give all their information to SHIELD, but that just might be in my head!

so can i but my ticket now? Ditto for real! Only gripe would be the Osborns; I'm not really feeling Harry and between Norman as a character and Cooper as an actor, I'm not sure how I feel about him spending the whole film bedridden, if that's what the trailer shows.

The only thing I'm not feeling is Green Goblin's hair. That looks silly as hell.
Electro looks awesome, Rhino being a mini-mecha is a good idea(let's be real the comic costume is pretty dumb looking), overall Green Goblin looks nice(again, save for the hair).
I just have to see how they tie all three villains together. Lest we forget the last live action Spider-Man film to feature 3 villains....

That would be ideal. Let's not forget that the Oscorp building was going to be in the Avengers, until they decided to not include it at the last minute. However, they would have a lot of explaining to do in terms of timeline. Like where was Spidey during the alien invasion of New York? Where were the Avengers when the Lizard tried to transform New York into reptiles? But if your proposed SHIELD scenario happened I'd mark like a five year old.
