show always being shitty, and then them having an excellent ten minutes?
Like it's not like that every week of course, but it always seems that without fail, if something big is gonna happen at the end of the show, you've gotta slog through the worst possible Raw in several months to get there.
Is it to make the good stuff that much better? Cuz Heyman and Brock woulda been great without 2:45 worth of drek.

This is what I usually do. I will watch the first segment. Then I come back about 5 minutes before the hour. Then again. Then I come back about 10 minutes before the overrun. It allows me to avoid watching the real bad stuff so I can go back to staring at Kat Dennings' cleavage instead of whatever it is 3MB is doing.

Maybe if they got rid of an hour or so of content.... See even when they were just two hours it was like that. Even when it was something that wasn't quite so epic, but a surprise like say Kane returning, the entire hour forty five before was just bleh.

You make the rest suck it makes the big ending seem even better. Look at the Nexus debut show, the Punk PipeBomb show, the night after Mania with the first Lesnar return and so on.

Maybe it's because Raw is essentially a variation of the same thing. But when WWE goes into rehash forced instant nostalgia mode it gets a little too crazy.

It's like Beavis said to Butthead when he asked why Radiohead didn't just "do that one cool part" for the entirety of "Creep": "if the rest of the song didn't suck so bad, that part wouldn't be so cool."

I think it might be a case of them really investing in the last segment, and losing focus because of that. Tonight had so much filler...it's unreal that they get 3 hours and still have to cut off so many entrances.

You want to see the entrances, or half the match, you need to download their app. It's getting blatant and obvious at this point. I can't think of any other show that'll run 6-8 commericals in a row, so often.

I don't get it sometimes, whenever I see a raw that I think is awesome I come on the Internet and it gets shit on.
I thought that aside from the needless Cody squash and the divas match this show was FULL of win!

It's because they only seriously spend time planning a story for the top 5-10% of the roster. Everyone else is an afterthought.

What confuses me, is that the show didn't seem bad just because it was bad. It seemed bad because I got the feeling that something happened to someone for some odd reason. The Big Show/Del Rio segment seemed like it went on for WAYYYYYYY too long, so much so I was like "did someone no show tonight, what the hell?" It was a really weird RAW, considering that I've been really really enjoying the product lately.

The entire night after Mania was great. Not just Lesnar's return. I don't think so. The material sucked and the crowd made it (for a bit). I thought CM Punk vs Mark Henry was a stellar match. Tensai's debut was sorta well handled. I liked The Rock's promo. That stuff alone is better than what 9/10 Raw's give you.

Punk starting the show was entertaining Good Orton/Cesaro match Shield beatdown on cena/sheamus/ryback Good Sheamus/Sandow match Good Punk/Rock confrontation Good Jericho/Ziggler confrontation Epic Heyman/Vince/Lesnar It was a good solid show.

Maybe if they got rid of an hour or so of content.... Bingo Bango The time management of RAW has been questionable for awhile. I don't begrudge anyone that misses big chucks of RAW due to the show's lopsided composition. I've done it myself because starving me decreases my appetite.

Triple agree - they could only make a two hour show entertaining occasionally, three hours, plus all the other shows - I'm surprised they haven't started let John Cena vamp for 20 minutes just to fill ti- oh wait. Nevermind.

Last night's Raw gave me an image I can't get out of my head and that is Tensai in lingerie, it also gave possibly the worst divas match since most of NXT season 3 and Khali singing. There were a few redeeming moments though but I was annoyed with the show last night
