Like he said something like "....Yknow, I wonder how Titus would do as a singles guy, I don't think he'd be another Tanahashi, now, about Rhonda Rousey...." and then it's spun into "WWE breaking up PTP to push Titus". |

Whether this story is true, I think it's inevitable they'll try eventually to push Titus as the star. Whether he can be someday is a good question, but he is not ready now. The Primetime Players work so well as a tag team, and if they did split now it wouldn't be good news for anyone.
Just give them a proper tag team push, and have them both in angles (like on NXT).

Why not give Titus a push with Young in his corner, if they want to focus on singles? That way, they have a good tag team for future use if needs be, a good double act for skits and backstage things, and they get the push they want anyway.

This really has a lot to do with Titus improving in ring and on mic, and Darren floundering. That time on commentary really killed any hope for Darren in my eyes

As much as I love PTP though, I think Titus is ready brother. He has the charisma and size, and he's passable in the ring. He'd probably only get better if given the opportunity to wrestle some of WWE's most talented uppercard guys one on one. |

I've been noticing this recently with them jobbing out.
When I first saw Titus, I wasn't too impressed, but he did remind me of one of those athletes you would see in a commercial telling kids to stay in school. He's gotten a lot better, and now is dynamite on the mic. Darren isn't as good on the mic, but he's got the talent, and that's what made the team work. Darren has grown into a great wrestler, and after jobbing out for awhile and going back to NXT, it does suck Darren might get depushed and they'll be broken up.
The big fear is that they'll end up like Cryme Tyme, The Dudebusters, Deuce n' Domino, the Bashams, and pretty much every tag team they separated and went no where with afterwards.
