WWE Looking To Tape A 2nd Show From Full Sail Univ

As briefly mentioned here in our update on Evan Bourne, WWE still has preliminary plans for an all-cruiserweight show, as the series was originally tapped for the WWE Network. We’re told WWE is still targeting top cruiserweight talent on the independent circuit to possibly use on the show.

There have been serious discussions between WWE and Full Sail University about hosting the tapings. WWE has been thrilled with the facility for NXT and are looking to tape the cruiserweight series there as well. As for where it would air, it could end up on Hulu Plus like NXT. The WWE Network is obviously not a viable outlet at this point.

We’re told discussions with Full Sail have progressed to the point of potential scheduling for the filming of a second show, what would be done to give the show a distinct look separate from NXT, etc.

While I long for a return of a cruiserweight/lightweight championship, I don't want the Cruiserweight show to happen. If it's JUST a show for where cruiserweights can exclusively wrestle, but they're still moderately showcased on the other shows, I'd be fine with it, but I don't think that's what they'll do. I think that they're just going to segregate their smaller guys into a bubble, and they'll never be seen interacting with anyone else on the roster.

Why not just make the Saturday Morning Slam timeslot into this? You've already got a good time on Saturday and the concept is perfect for kids.

I heard it was another plan the WWE had/have. As someone said on another thread this rumor has been running for 3 years now lol.
