I think the cons depend entirely on the significant other you are with honestly. So do the pros, really. Anyway, this thread really cracks me up for some reason. Pro: -Someone to split bills/expenses with. -Someone to introduce you to new people. -Someone to raise children/pets/plants/aliens, etc. with. Related con: -If you are together long enough, the sense that your lives are so intertwined that if one person leaves, you are both f***ed and the ramifications will be huge. |

I'm here to give you people who are oh so sad and oh so depressed about singles awareness day next week a small smidgen of hope and let yo know that it is A-Okay to be single. Hit me with your best shot........ You're here to show everyone it's okay to be single, but you're asking everyone else to provide the pros and cons? No I had to go to work (afternoon shift) but i'm home now and can contribute. No different then starting a photoshop thread and not contributing anything like the majority of people do here. For starters..... Pros: I love my free time. I love not having to answer to anyone. I love my secrets. I love that I can talk to anybody I want to. I can be myself. I can spend my hard earned money on stuff that makes me happy |

cons: I value my alone time a bit too much, my enjoyment of the music I listen to is predicated partially on being perpetually lonely/miserable.

there appears to be quite a few horny teens in here who are obsessed with sex. yes, sex becomes less important in a relationship, however the onus is then on you to make sure that that doesn't happen. there's no excuse.

Well the obvious one would be #3 on that list. I'm a big believer in anything you say can and will be used against you. You let anyone in and if things go wrong then guess who has got ammunition to use on you? As for talking to whomever I want to. Just how uncommon is it to hear stories or have it happen to you that while you were asleep or away your significant other went through your phone/email/facebook whatever to see who you've been talking to that they don't know about. |

Pros: All the sex in the beginning Cons: After awhile the length between coitus opportunities increases... You sir are my hero. Also add to the cons, extremely jealous of other girls and then when you actually break up, you end up sad for a while. |

Lack of communication and compromise. Being selfish too. Mostly her fault.
That's how I felt after being dumped by her again, this time whilst engaged and screwed me financially, temporarily.
