So with those numbers, that means there was 46.8 minutes of wrestling in the average two hour Raw, and 140.4 minutes in a three hour show. Hmmmm....that don't sound right. Cut both those numbers in half and we'd be closer to what's actually true.

Damien Sandow and Antonio Cesaro were getting pushed anyway before the switch, so you can't really tell whether it benefitted them or not.
Santino gets more matches, but barely gets promo time anymore.

Seems pretty skewed to cater towards IWC complaints. They seriously left Daniel Bryan and CM Punk off that list!? Those guys get considerable amounts of time on the 3-hour Raws, also they are leaving out Wade Barrett(who usually has a 10-20 minute match on every Raw). As far as Cena goes, yeah he gets alot of screen time still, why wouldn't he? He's the top star in WWE and a proven ratings draw. But I would be willing to bet while the actual minutes he is on Raw has increased, the percentage of the show he takes up has gone down quite a bit. Longer matches, more midcarders featured, the mid card titles actually meaning something, minus the countless recaps, I don't see what there is to complain about. The first few 3-hour Raws seemed drawn out, but lately they have been better at booking them and the show seems to flow much better. On the 2 hour Raws it seemed like everything that wasn't Cena or the featured storyline of the month was rushed filler.

To be fair, before three hour Raws, Primo was pretty much the GM of Superstars. He never was on Raw, and when they hit three hours, he was on a lot more. Sure, he and Epico have been jobbed out a lot recently, but they benefitted huge from Raw going three hours in regards to TV time.

Sure, there may be 33% more matches but how many of them are meaningful? Some people on these boards claim we're all too negative and look for things to complain about, and I typically don't agree with that statement, but when you say something like this, I think you're looking for something to complain about. "There isn't enough wrestling on Raw." Here's more matches, and they're longer. "They aren't meaningful!" Besides title matches and #1 contender matches (and some gimmick matches like Loser Leaves WWE), are ANY matches meaningful in wreslting? It's not like there are rankings, it's not a legit sport. If you're watching pro wrestling looking for meaning, you might be wasting your time. Try watching it for fun and entertainment, you'll probably like it more. Aw, come on. I didn't say I didn't enjoy it for fun and entertainment. I love pro wrestling and no, I don't expect every match to be meaningful but when they're throwing out John Cena v. Cody Rhodes where it ends in less than 3 minutes, it doesn't help or hurt either guy, nor does it really entertain anyone. I'm not complaining about Super Cena nor am I lamenting the use of Cody Rhodes, I just don't get any real entertainment out of stuff like that. I love WWE but I'm allowed to dislike the odd "nothing" match.

There's ups and downs to 3 hours. If they utilized their time better, the shows would still drag, but at least the product would be more desirable to watch. That Raw Roulette show was hilarious, because they had 3 hours to fill, and they rushed time by cutting entrances and having shorter matches, when...I can't really fathom why they did so, since most of it was fluff that felt like they were trying to kill airtime.
It's all about time management, as again, there are benefits to going 3 hours for the mid-card. I imagine it's hard to do when Vince makes them revise the script so much.

The mid card has obviously benefitted from the extra hour.

Take out the commercials from the calculations. 185 minutes- 50 minutes of commercials= 135 minutes x 78%= 105 minutes. 125 minutes- 30 minutes of commercials= 95 minutes x 39%= 37 minutes. So, if true, the entire extra hour has been used for match time.

Also - Which means 66% more recaps, terrible skits and unnecessarily long promos. And adverts. Lots and lots of adverts.

My first issue was I didn't want to stay up until 1am for wrestling. Then they moved it back anhour to 9pm which was ok but that made me miss How I met your mother and 2 broke girls. Now they give us the 15 minute countdown of everything I already saw last week. So now I get to see the first half of how I met your mother then stay up watching wrestling until 12:20am. I wish they would just go back to 10pm - 12am.

The numbers don't lie, and they spell more commericals for you at Raw!
Seriously, there's no way the majority of the extra time isn't being used for commericals. They have multiple 8+ commercial breaks every show
