And, on a related note, apparently Fire Pro Wrestling Returns is being released on PSN this week.

After many incarnations and resets, I've finally found the right configuration for the Universe. I have 2 major shows, Raw and NXT. No minor shows, too many random matches and no storylines. Raw is all established stars, Cena to Big Show to Del Rio to Punk to Rhodes. Anyone with any kind of big name is on Raw. NXT is for upstarts. No titles shared between brands, NXT has a slightly smaller male roster (24) than Raw (28) but has the women's division. PPVs are dual-branded. Raw is held in the 94 Raw arena set-up, NXT in a custom small arena set-up, similar to the Full Sail arena but with some personal touches. PPVs are held in a classy 1980s WWF arena with a red carpet. NO TITANTRONS OR GAUDY SETS ALLOWED. Serious wrasslin feel, dammit!
Raw John Cena - WWE Champion (winged eagle) Cena is a heel and fending off a stacked babyface roster, consisting of CM Punk, Chris Jericho, Sheamus, and Dolph Ziggler. Punk and Jericho loathe each other as much as they do Cena, and Sheamus took advantage to win the number 1 contendership for Over The Limit by defeating the two in a triple threat match. After the match, Punk showed Sheamus respect by raising his hand. Daniel Bryan suffered an upset loss to Wade Barrett which knocked him out of contention for the time being.
Christian - Intercontinental Champion Because of the lack of World Heavyweight Championship, competition for the IC title is stronger than ever. Freshly heel-turned Randy Orton (who has formed a tedious alliance with Cena) is angling for the title, but his feud with Alberto Del Rio is keeping him busy, and both men cannot stand Sheamus. Christian is embroiled in a personal feud with R-Truth, who is battling for a shot at the title and is pissed that Christian didn't join Awesome Truth in 2011.
New Age Outlaws - WWE Tag Team Champions They're just hanging out, not getting booked. The Rhodes Scholars own a victory over Booker T and Goldust and are number one contenders. Eventually this is likely to be a 3 way feud, with the Usos and Colons on jobber duties and eternally feuding amongst themselves.
NXT Big E Langston - World Heavyweight Champion The Shield is trying to snatch the belt. They were forced by Dusty Rhodes to compete in a triple threat match with each other to decide the Number 1 contender, Seth Rollins won by pinning Dean Ambrose with the Phoenix Splash. Rollins is pre-occupied with Sarita and is drifting away from his stablemates, but he's got a hot chick and a title shot so things are going well for him. Antonio Cesaro and Bray Wyatt are among the top contenders for Langston if he can survive Rollins on Sunday.
Zema Ion - World Light-Heavyweight Champion A lot of stiff competition in the light heavy division, with Tyson Kidd, Adrian Neville, Hunico, and El Generico all gunning for the title. Zema has a personal issue with Xavier Woods that has resulted in some fantastic matches and outstanding displays of douchebaggery, good and bad. This is the division to watch.
British Ambition - World Tag Team Champions 6 teams, any could win the title on any night. International Airstrike gets the title shot at the PPV, but the Motor City Machine Guns and Kings of Wrestling are strongly in the picture. The Primetime Players have a lot of potential but are facing a level competition they're not used to, and The Shield have been pre-occupied with internal struggles and quests for world heavyweight gold.
Kaitlyn - Womens' Champion AJ Lee has been riding a wave of crowd support to a 4 match winning streak and number 1 contender status. New additions Sara Del Rey and Sarita are set to debut and will turn the division upside down. Emma is killing it and getting better at dancing every single week, but AJ's got her number.

If anyone does get it for PS3, let me know if the graphics are less muddier on it, and if there's any differences or if it's a straight port. I may end up getting a PS3 just for this.

Speaking of the various match types, there are a ton of those that need fixing up in their own right. Whatever the thought process was on removing pins and submissions in cage matches (my guess, it probably has to do with the fact that, while unlikely, it was possible to still lose a multiperson match while climbing out of the cage if the people inside came to a finish, which if anything I'd consider more dramatic and it made for a great Mania ending for me in 12 once), why in the Rumble Miz is prone to randomly sliding across the ring, ladder matches being complete jokes in 13 that can end within seconds and related them not using the much better title-grabbing mechanics from Legends of WrestleMania, Divas inexplicably not being allowed in the Elimination Chamber, how f***ing atrocious backstage brawls are, the fact that on what'll be the fifteenth game they still can't integrate roaming backstage areas like were in the first five, special referee matches giving the referee way too much leniency to the point that it's basically impossible to win if the referee's against you, the stupid shoving / eye rake movesets used in backstage brawls and the outside of the cell, weapons not properly disappearing in Extreme Rules matches basically making you run out of weapons eventually because the computer's obsessed with pulling items out of the crowd, computer always pulling you up to your feet when you're outside the ring in an I Quit match, finishers basically being insta-death in a Last Man Standing match... Really, I could go on all day, but that's one massive run-on sentence as it is so I'll stop for now. Don't forget the CPU won't save their tag partner from being pinned if their damage is too high, contender rankings completely randomizing in Universe mode if you edit it too much, that weird jet engine sound the crowd sometimes makes during entrances...

That stupid jet engine noise has been in for years. Initially that showed up for particularly high diving moves in one of the games, I think 2008, which while annoying as hell at least made some kind of sense, and ever since then it's just randomly shown up wherever they can cram it at. Speaking of random audio swells and noises TREMENDOUS ACTION IN THIS MATCH.

I've had a hell of a time trying to find a good Samoa Joe CAW. There's some good ones but when I download them they always end up being light heavyweights, like 6'2 230 pounds. Anyone know a good Joe that's actually at the correct weight, like 270-290?

You know...I told Johnny after that was recorded that I was going to have a muffin for breakfast today. But I have yet to get one. I WILL eat a muffin before this day is through, dammit.

I should really make some of the strange CAW ideas I have floating around sometime. Main ones offhand are Ken Silver Shamrock and Dude Lovecraft.

"That is not dead which can eternal lie, and with strange aeons even death may tie-dye, daddio! Awww have mercy..." The image is priceless. Now I can't get the name "Cthude Love" out of my head.

There, went ahead and made Dude Lovecraft and put him on the 360. Search terms for it are Mick Foley and Mankind, the latter because of a second outfit I threw in there. Wound up stealing that tie-dye joke for the comments, though since I'm kind of scatterbrained at the moment I wound up misspelling it. Given your sig, you might appreciate that alternate outfit.

Well, I know what I'm going to make my first DL! Anyway, beating up Sin Cara is quite therapeutic on this. Set finishers to infinite and F-5'd him about twenty times to get over my Injustice rage. Oddly though, Cole actually called the Anaconda Vice when my CAW locked it in.

Yeah, they made it so a handful of moves have generic calls for them - main ones being the submissions and the Pedigree, probably for the former because a lot of them are used by multiple people while the latter was probably for Stephanie. Unrelated, know what I really want in WWE 14? A jobber entrance. Just make it so that the person's standing in the ring doing some generic posing and are introduced as already being in there.

You set them to his real weight then you can't give them curtain moves and makes Joe moveset unrealistic to what he really does. That why most of them are light heavyweights so they can get a more accurate moveset mostly his dive moves he busts out of special moments. The Joe I have is ok but I need to work on his moveset. Outside the finishers and set up moves kinda look rushed.

There are on springboard moves and dives out of the ring, but you can still get those as a heavyweight so Joe's best off as that.
