I go to a stylist not a barber and he shampoos my hair too so it takes like 45 minutes. I'm telling you get your hair cut by a gay dude, they know what looks good and he always has my hair looking great!

Cut the sides at 3/8th's inch, taper up to about an inch on top. Comb forward.

Probably 20-25 mins to get it cut. 20 mins for a nice slick back. Usually I let it try for 15 mins before wetting it again and add the finishing touches

Takes about 4 hours to retwist and style my hair. Me as well. I grew my hair out orignaly to put it in cornrows (it's about shoulder length now after growing it since 1999), when I used to get my hair braided it took 4-4.5 hrs to braid. But when I started finding some folks getting intimated at job interviews, I switched to just wearing a ponytail and haven't had that problem anymore. |

every 3-4 days I shave my head with a straight-razor. usually takes 10-15 minutes.

About 10 minutes. Usually just a trim for the classic side parted look.
Takes about 5 every morning to set the part right, give the fringe enough of a flick and hairspray it into place though!

I never seen a gay guy giving haircuts but whenever I need a new barber. I always ask for the older lady the mama bear. She has experience in giving great haircuts and knowing what I want. I never had good experiences with the hot chicks. They always f*** up and think they can still get a good tip because they'll brush their boobs on my shoulder and laugh at everything I said. You're not getting a good tip for destroying one of my sideburns or cutting back of my neck with those shears |

I ususally let my hair grow a bit then get fed up and buzz it off. It takes about 15 minutes. When I'm work on my beard, that could add another 15.
