Another game with Moose in net, another softie goal given up that Marty would've stopped in his sleep.

I'm starting to think this is the year Toronto makes the playoffs.

Make sure to watch for Evgeni Malkin's goal from tonight. One of the absolute best of the season. Just beautiful.

Best part of tonight's Pens/Lightning game? The fan who celebrated Malkin's goal by throwing a bucket full of popcorn into the air!

I'll take the two points, but this was a horrific effort from the Leafs over the first two periods. Hedberg even gifted the Leafs with the first goal and the Devils were unlucky to have hit two posts.
When you phone it in for two periods, you pay most nights. Jersey really let us off the hook.

Story of every game the Devils have played since Marty's been out with injury. Hedberg's been horrific in the net and he's not getting any defensive support either.
Even when the Devils' offense manages to score some goals, Hedberg has no ability to keep them in the game, giving the other team a lot of gifts and soft goals that Brodeur would effortlessly bat aside.

Stamkos got a questionable goal from putting his stick up into MAF's mask, but I'll take a rare home win even if it wasn't as clean as we need to get.

It's like he expects that the fourth line will beat the opposing team into submission or something. Last I checked, hockey didn't work like that.

Yup. That game was ugly as hell and I'm still pretty peeved that this team only showed up for the 3rd period, but yes. Thank You based Carter.

Colorado vs. Detroit.
This used to be stop the presses stuff when they played. It was, for a stretch, such a badass rivalry and maybe the biggest rivalry in pro sports.
Wrestling comparison- it was like the Austin-McMahon of hockey rivalries.

Here is something the Canucks and Canadians fan may enjoy but the Bruins Fans will hate. Two points: 1. Those are highlights (or lowlights) from the past three seasons. If that's the worst someone can come up with over three full seasons of hockey, then fine, whatever. The Bruins embellish sometimes. Everyone does. The point Claude Julien was making is that some teams do it a whole hell of a lot more often than others. 2. Brad Marchand's flopping and diving in last season's quarterfinals against the Capitals was so despicable that the team told him to cut it out. And he has. Through the season so far, I've yet to see him drop as if shot after a glancing blow.

The Devils need a new backup goalie.

Blackhawks score goals in about 2 minutes to go up 2-1 in the 1st Period.
