And in 2 days, the chase for the Faust Cup begins with the qualifier duels for the Haytona 500...

Carrot Top vs. Vinyl Scratch At once the two start out grappling for control, with Vinyl winning and throwing Carrot Top into the corner. She follows with a clothesline, then a series of punches. At this point Carrot Top manages a counter, leading to a back-and-forth before Carrot Top gets the upper hand and tosses Vinyl into the corner. She runs over and begins punching her, then takes down Vinyl via the leg. A series of punches follows before she whips Vinyl off the ropes, only to be reversed with the same ending in a back body drop. Vinyl picks Carrot Top up and throws her into the corner, but Carrot Top reverses the situation and perches Vinyl up on the top only to be elbowed in the face. Vinyl tries for a dropkick from above, but Carrot Top dodges. Carrot Top stomps away at Vinyl, who rolls away then runs in to hit a clothesline. She then hits a snapmare / elbow combination, followed by kicking Carrot Top before throwing her back into the corner. A shoulder strike follows before she perches Carrot Top on the top rope, then Vinyl hits a back suplex off the top. Vinyl picks Carrot Top up for more, but she ducks behind her and hits a chop block. Carrot Top tries for more, but Vinyl shoves her off and then hits another clothesline. Vinyl then knees carrot Top in the guy and whips her off the ropes, but Carrot Top reverses with a bulldog then drops her knees on Vinyl's leg before punching her in it. Vinyl shrugs this off, getting back up and swinging at Carrot Top, but this is reversed and Carrot Top hits a Thesz press. A try for another is met with a side belly-to-belly from Vinyl, who then throws Carrot Top out of the ring with her landing on the steps. Vinyl follows and throws Carrot Top into the barrier repeatedly, before spearing her through it. Vinyl returns to the ring content to wait it out and let Carrot Top get counted out, but the Earth pony recovers and returns to the ring then catches Vinyl with a jawbreaker once inside. She then again drops her knees on Vinyl's, before locking in a half-crab that is quickly escaped. Vinyl afterward hits a running clothesline, but Carrot Top catches her offguard with a poke in the eyes. This si followed with a shoulder block followed by slamming her arm down on the mat, but Vinyl then goes for a poke in the eyes of her own. She runs in at Carrot Top after this, but it's reversed into an arm drag. Carrot Top stands over Vinyl and repeatedly punches her in the face and chest, but it does little to slow Vinyl down as she gets back up and uppercuts Vinyl to the ground. She then pulls Carrot Top to her hooves and hits a side suplex, but an attempt at more leads to another poke in the eyes. Carrot Top follows with a backbreaker, then she hits a snapmare followed by a series of punches to the downed Vinyl's face. Carrot Top goes for more, but Vinyl pokes her in the eyes then a running DDT that makes Carrot Top start bleeding. Vinyl then picks her up and delivers a two-handed chokeslam, before dropping her leg across Carrot Top's throat. She tries to pick Carrot Top up, but Carrot Top pokes her in the eyes then a back-and-forth series of punches ensues. Carrot Top comes out ahead with a hard right that gets her a two count, then she picks up Vinyl for more only to be uppercutted herself then hit with a side slam that she kicks out of. Carrot Top regains control with a chop block, then begins punching Vinyl while she's down. Vinyl manages to shove Carrot Top away when she moves toward focusing on her arm, prompting her to take off running out of the ring. After a moment Vinyl follows, and promptly throws Carrot Top back inside where she then Chokeslams her. Vinyl pins Carrot Top for the three. Winner, moving to the second round: Vinyl ScratchThe last match of the first round is next, as Spitfire goes up against Princess Celestia herself.

Spitfire vs. Princess Celestia Right out of the gate, Celestia runs in and hits a monkey flip. She tries for more, but Spitfire counters, leading to a back-aand-forth exchanging with Celestia taking the advantage with a back suplex. This doesn't last long as Spitfire kicks Celestia in the arm then locks on a sleeperhold, but Celestia quickly escapes. Spitfire immediately locks it back on, but again it doesn't take. Celestia comes out of it with a couple of punches, but Spitfire catches her and hits a suplex then again targets Celestia's arm. Spitfire tries for more, but Celestia hits a neckbreaker in response. this doesn't keep Spitfire down long and a fght for control breaks out, with Celestia taking it with a headbutt followed by an elbow to the face and a Russian leg sweep. Celestia then hits a spinning heel kick, but is caught on a punch and hit with one herself followed by a bulldog. Spitfire hits a series of shots then, but then is caught with a hip and chopped across the chest on the way back. Another struggle for control breaks out that Spitfire takes with a side-headlock takedown, but she's soon caught offguard with a frankensteiner. The fight spills outside, with Celestia throwing Spitfire into the barrier then into the post. The fight returns to the isndie of the ring briefly, until Celestia throws Spitfire back out and back into the barrier. The two begin countering each other quite a bit until Celestia throws Spitfire into the steps then hits another headbutt, before returning to the ring long enough to break the count. This is a mistake, as she comes back to be hit with a running DDT, followed by a spinebuster. Spitfire throws Celestia into the steps then back into the ring, then motions that she's planning to steal her finisher and indeed hits Trouble in Paradise. Spitfire goes for a pin, but Celestia kicks out. The two stagger to their hooves, where Celestia tries and fails to throw Spitfire out of the ring and gets clotheslind for her troubles. Spitfire throws Celestia off the ropes, but gets caught with a monkey flip on the way back. Celestia throws her onto the apron, but from there Spitfire punches her and climbs back in. Celestia catches her with a German suplex on her return then properly dropkicks Spitfire out of the ring. Celestia throws her into the barrier a couple of times, then the two return to the ring where Spitfire abruptly tries the Pedigree but is countered. Celestia's unable to take advantage of the reversal and is hit with a backdrop, then Spitfire motions for the Pedigree and this time hits it for the win. Winner, moving to the second round: SpitfireStopping here for now then, but we now know our round two matches - Photo Finish vs. Cherry Jubilee Derpy Hooves vs. Applejack Rarity vs. Lemon Hearts Daisy vs. Flitter Zecora vs. Pinkie Pie Rainbow Dash vs. Rose Twilight Sparkle vs. Lotus Vinyl Scratch vs. Spitfire

Well I can't help it If I'm the only one who sees she's actually not as good a character as people make her out to be

Finished the Twilight comic. Pretty good. Very predictable little story, and nowhere the dark level of the current events in the comic, but a fun little story with some decent humor. Other than Princess Celestia and Spike, no other main character makes an appearance.
Tons of book references. Even a subtle reference to that OTHER Twilight

My one issue is the art is a tad too simplified, especially in comparison to the actual MLP comics
