Yeah, that seems logical and they'll either add Kaitlyn as Team Hell No's counter to AJ or they'll turn it into a six person tag with both the Tag and Divas' Championships on the line. Also, while I'm super pumped for Jericho/Fandango, I have a sneaking suspicion that it will be this year's squash. I really, really hope that isn't a yearly Mania tradition now. WWE made a cool thing cliche with the yearly wacky Rumble elimination save (lol Kofi is jumping on a chair  ), we don't need to see them drive an already lame concept further into the ground. As someone who traveled a total of 40 hours in 3 days to attend that show last year...it really does not feel good. To be fair it's not really that new. Wrestlemania 1 had that Bundy/SD Jones match, and you could go down the line with various WM matches that were under two minutes. |

Interesting note about the card; as it currently stands, every single match has at least one former world champion in it, with some having two or three.

I will say one positive thing I like about this years card: they have avoided the temptation to do some kind of gimmicky "get everyone else on the card" match. I like it because it makes all the other matches seem important, and like there is a logical reason behind it and not just thrown together matches for the sake of getting everyone on the card. There is The Shield match, but that one makes sense since there is a reason behind it.
That being said, I haven't followed or watched too closely for a year or so (as I've said in other threads) but Ill usually at least watch the Rumble and Mania every year. I'm not too excited about this card, though. I'm sure many of them will be good (Del Rio/Swagger, Jericho/Fandango, Punk/Taker, even Triple H/Lesnar will be quite the spectacle) but it just doesn't feel like Wrestlemania. I will probably still go check it out at a bar or something though.

lol I notice they used a cloudy sky for that picture, if I was WWE I'd keep clouds as far away from Wrestlemania as possible.

My friend has a feeling that Team Ziggler is taking all the titles. Ziggler and Big E win the tag titles, AJ wins the divas title, and Ziggler cashes in and wins the WH Title

So, a battle royale on the pre-show then? Hard to imagine they wouldn't have the likes of Khali or Kofi on the card at all. No word on matches for the pre-show yet, other than it's an hour. 1 or 2 matches (Brodus and pals vs. Rhodes Scholars & Bellas? something for Cesaro and/or Barrett?) and a battle royal would be a good plan though. |

If the preshow is one hour, and All of the announced matches are to be on the main card, then the preshow should be used for getting everyone on the card. Instead of having a big battle royal that does nothing for anyone, it would be better to do either a big tag match where each wrestler has a chance at getting some type of highlight reel moment by doing a big spot

Cesaro vs. R-Truth
Triple Threat tag match
Usos vs. PTP vs. Colons
Random 12 man tag.
Kofi, Gabriel, Ryder, Santino, Riley & Khali (w/ Hornswoggle) vs. 3MB, JTG, McGillicutty & Hawkins (w/ David Otunga)

I think the eight-person tag team match and the Intercontinental Championship get bumped to the one-hour pre-show. I can't conceive of a way they can squeeze ten matches into the card, without having at least two of them being squashes that are under in less than two minutes, and honestly who wants that?
If we're going to have ten matches, give them all a decent amount of time by bumping at least one or two to the pre-show.

The fact that were asking how is WWE gonna squeeze 10 matches in FOUR hours shows you how much filler is on a WWE PPV these days...especially Mania.
Mania 17 (the most critically accclaimed Mania) had 11 matches. Perfect time management.

I've priced up the 8 matches announced for the company I work for.
No idea how to price up these last 2 matches.
I'm thinking Team Funk win but I wouldn't be long odds on, and i've literally no idea with Miz Vs Barrett.

It's amazing how the stars have aligned for some this WrestleMania season. I mean, at the start of the year, the last people that I thought would be getting a WrestleMania match would have likely been Big E Langston, Fandango and The Funkadactyls, especially when you see those who will likely be on YouTube preshow duty.

Wow, they made the main WM card. Very cool.
.........although now I wonder if this one could be shunted to the pre-show without any announcement. This seems like a thing WWE could do to disappoint us.

So are they doing Kaitlyn vs AJ do you think then? Maybe if the preshow is extra long they're doing that plus a battle royale boondoggle with Cesaro, Kofi etc.
