I'm not comfortable with the Jaime/Cersei scene at all. Watching it again... it's more than a little off-putting. They could have filmed it way better. It's cause a pretty big uproar with peoples.

Overall, a great episode. Though I'm not sure how I feel about that Jaime/Cersei scene. And I was definitely missing Strong Belwas tonight. I'm not comfortable with the Jaime/Cersei scene at all. The more I think about it, I agree. I'm trying to think of a reason that scene had to play out, the way it did, and can't come with one. First of all, it's rape, so it's going to be uncomfortable to watch. That being said, in the world where Got is set, rape is very prevalent. But there's not one thing about Jaime Lannister's character that screams rapist. This is someone, that went out of his way, to save Brienne from that horrible ordeal. And now he's going to rape the person he loves above all others. Just no.

And the week before the actor opens a movie as a philandering husband... fun!

Yeah the more I think about it, the less I like that rape scene as well. And the thing that makes it even worse was it happened right next to the corpse of their son. Like it would have been bad had it happened anywhere, really, but doing it next to Joffrey just puts it over the top....

Judging by the look on Dany's face, it looks like Daario2 might get some.

Daario2 just looks like a generic guy. A big sticking point I am having is just how drastically different they look. Daario1 had long, flowing locks and no face fur, Daario2 has short hair and a facial mane. It is just so damn hard buying them as the same character.

Yeah, I'm still not used to him either, not just because they don't look the same at all, but they act different too. On the plus side, it's good to see Littlefinger back, I missed that conniving bastard.

The fact that a guy can rape his sister next to the corpse of their son and it's probably not even in the the top ten of f***ed up things on that show is quite something.
But really, Jamie is a complete dick and the fact that he has acted kind of nice for a season shouldn't let people forget that.

I'm kinda torn on Styr. While making this super-evil guy is more character then he got in the books. {Spoiler}It's gonna be jarring in the later seasons when his son becomes an ally to the North.

It's one thing for him to be evil, but all Thenns as cannibals? I can't imagine Jon orchestrating that. Even the Wildlings don't like these guys.
It's possible they do use it with new characters. Axell Florent's death reminded me he was supposed to marry a Wildling daughter of Gerrick Kingsblood. Some other Southerners were going to as well.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}If they really want a wildling marriage just have Tormund replace the Thenns. Ginger man slaying a giant on a crimson field as his sigil.

Great Episode, practically every scene had me captivated.
The best scene for me, was Tommen and Tywin's grandson/grandfather discussion about wisdom and being a good king.

So, I got a question about the series, how do knights work in the armies? So, like we take, say, the Lannisters who have their own force of the people around Casterly Rock, and their lords like House Carkehall and Leffords. And then they have knightly houses, like the Cleganes and Lorches sworn to the Lannisters, and I remember Gregor has like 500 riders under him.
So, knights would be akin to officers and commanders, maybe?

Went totally against Jaime's character for him to rape Cersei, and on top of their dead son no less. Not that he was an entirely sympathetic character to begin with, he's just another evil man in a cast of many of them.

Major spoiler, Logistics issue, and theory as to how they will solve it. {Spoiler}I think Tywin is going to kill Shae in his bedchamber, and Tyrion will discover this and it will add to the reason why he kills him.
This is based mostly on show Tyrion being a lot less powerful than book Tyrion. Peter Dinklage being physically unable to choke someone. And it fitting more with the character development of all parties. What does everyone else think?

The whole rape scene is one of those scenes that works better in the books where you can 'hear' what the character is thinking.
In the scene, you have to discount the whole Joffrey things, because that means nothing to Jaime, as he has already said that he doesnt view his children as his children and sees them as Robert's. I think you also have to blame in some ways the direction of the scene - on the one hand Cersei is clearly saying no, on the other, she is clearly kissing him back and doesnt shout out or hit him or back anything more than a verbal attempt to refuse - which while still rape (and im not a rape apologist, just explaining this scene in terms of it's failings) is explained much better in the books as her wanting the sex but only not wanting it because of Joff, not because she didnt actually want her twin brother's peen.
