What segment was this from? Why was she dancing behind him? I remember her being his valet but not that segment. Also, going by the pics from the last page, am I crazy or is Melina the yellowest non-jaundiced person ever? |

I believe so. And, much like the short lived Goldust angle, it was one of the few bright spots in that partnership. Really a shame, as when given something to work with, Ted and Maryse worked well together.

Really a shame, as when given something to work with, Ted and Maryse worked well together. Problem stemmed from Maryse overshadowing Ted in everything he did. She's very charismatic but lacks subtlety and he's the definition of the latter, and it resulted in her vacuuming all his heat away. |

I don't know. I thought it could work, case in point their backstage segments together. Specifically during the Goldust program. Like when Ted complained about her yelling at him in French.

They often get slated around here but I never minded Ted and Maryse. I was just watching some old Superstars where they popped up and I thought they both did well with their roles. Obviously Ted is a bit on the dull side personality wise, and Maryse being paired with Miz instead seemed incredibly obvious, but I actually enjoyed seeing them again. They had a nice entrance too. |
