My match is in your inbox now BRB. A little late but I can't say I'm not a perfectionist. I'll let you and the others be the judge of it though.

Match is done. However, I need someone to do the coding and perhaps fix commentary.
I could do it, but currently using my phone. Which means it'll take forever to get it done.

Alright, TV Title match is done and has been sent.
Much like Martin vs. Antihero, would love to hear feedback.

Well, I know BRB was working on Dupoe/MiB. But the tv, inter-forum & heavyweight titles are all in. Antihero/Martin is in, wasn't sure on the Freakin' Awesome match but I do hope MPM is feeling alright and wish him all the best.

If all goes well, I'll be able to post Comic Book Chaos tomorrow. There's still time to submit promos, skits, etc. Make the most of it; they're worth more on supercards.
In the meantime, let's take this time to consider this delay for CBC. Will increasing Niteraw to four matches be a mistake? Should we wait until after Wheel of Misfortune to consider expansion again? More matches means more writers needed every week.
I have other issues to raise, but one at a time.

More matches means more writers needed every week. I have other issues to raise, but one at a time. I think CBC is just bad timing. Some were sick/indisposed, thus affecting how quickly we could get a show out. I say we try four matches and see how that goes. If it's successful, move on from there. If not, back to three.

Agreed, aside from this little hiccup I think things have been running fairly smoothly for the most part.

More matches means more writers needed every week. I have other issues to raise, but one at a time. Well, I think if we have four writers who are consistently able to write matches each week, we'll be okay. The problem with CBC was that we needed seven writers. While I'm posting, I'd like to say a couple of things about the match I wrote. See, one of the participants had an idea for the finish, and I didn't think it was a bad one, but it was different from what BRB gave me, of course. After I wrote it, I thought "Hey wait, if the match finished this way, then it would be weird if something else didn't happen," and so I wrote that this other thing happened. But...in retrospect I'm not sure if I made the right decision, because it involved having somebody's character do something without first asking him if it was okay. I don't think I had him act out of character--on the contrary, I can't imagine this character responding any other way to the finish of the match--but still, it might have been a mistake. I won't have to be as vague after the show's posted, of course. Mulligan, Bull, if either of you really want to know what happens, PM me and I'll tell you. EDIT: Oh yeah, and I'd love any feedback anybody wants to give me on the match.

Speaking of which, I like the special guest star for the Freaking Awesome Title Match. I knew he should somehow make an appearance, but I wasn't sure how.

[glow=BLACK,2,300]COMIC BOOK CHAOS[/glow] TH: Welcome everyone to Comic Book Chaos! I’m “Gorilla” Tim Hoss and with me as always is Jesse King!JK: I feel like a kid again, Hoss. All this comic book imagery. All the costumes, all the literally two dimensional characters! TH: You’ve waited a long time for it but it’s here and we have so much action coming up.
We have Connor Mackenzie defending his Television Title against Ryan Blood.
And later tonight he will face Seth Drakin for the Interforums Championship.JK: Title shots galore. The Mad Pirate Mulligan goes head to head with Moo Moo Ant for the Freakin’ Awesome Championship, and of course, our main event: The Lord of the Ring, Michael Hayden, will face off against Gus Richlen. TH: Rounding out tonight’s events we have Scott Martin taking on Antihero in the first of a Best of Seven series, and FAWA CEO Jeremy Dupoe will square off against the Man in Black to unmask him once and for all, or else he will be forced to resign from his CEO position. JK: Lots of action, lots of suspense, lots to see tonight when Comic Book Chaos explodes tonight!

[/color] LEX LUTHOR: If the duck doesn't like him, then I'm definitely betting for Mackenzie.ADRIAN VEIDT: He seems foolish and childish in his ideals. Blood is more practical. Blood for me.MISTER BURNS: Well aren't you a smart guy? Smithers, place my bet for Connor Mackenzie!BRB: Norm, who're you betting on?*Osborn's face is buried in his hands before he suddenly looks up.* NORMAN OSBORN: Blood. Tonight I will bet on Blood.BRB: Well well well, looks like the battle lines are drawn. Three for Blood, three for Mackenzie. Let the fun begin...[/quote] [glow=BLACK,2,300]COMIC BOOK CHAOS[/glow][glow=bronze,2,300]TELEVISION CHAMPIONSHIP[/glow]RYAN BLOOD VERSUS CONNOR MACKENZIE TH: It’s time for the Comic Book Chaos to finally explode as the Television Champion, Connor Mackenzie, wrestles his first of two matches tonight against Ryan Blood to defend the Television Championship. JK: Take it away, Muffer! MM: Now entering the ring: the challenger.
Hailing from Baltimore, Maryland and weighing 212lbs:
He is the “Blood Knight” Ryan… Blood! *Ryan Blood makes his way to the ring, ignoring the fans…* TH: He was able to take on the World Heavyweight Champion Gus Richlen and now Ryan Blood is ready to claim the Television Championship for himself tonight. JK: He is ruthless and he is determined. He is a proven wrestler who managed to win last year’s Lord of the Ring tournament against Connor Mackenzie and tonight I believe he will defeat him for the Television Title. MM: And his opponent:
From Halifax, Nova Scotia;
Weighing 225lbs, he is the FAWA Television Champion:
"The Digital Dragon..." Connor... Mackenzie!*Connor heads to the ring, holding the TV Title belt over his head…* TH: On the other hand, Connor is making strides in the FAWA lately. He’s worked more than one match multiple times since Lord of the Ring and tonight will be no different. JK: Unfortunately, his opponent here is Ryan Blood, who should be more than Connor can handle, much less Seth Drakin, the Interforums Champion, later tonight. *Connor hands off his belt to the ref, who holds up the Television Title and calls for the bell. The two men start circling. Mackenzie stops for a moment and puts out his hand.* TH: Mackenzie showing respect to his opponent.JK: We'll see how much that respect gets him when Blood rips his arm off.*Blood looks at Mackenzie and nods for a quick second before shaking the outstretched hand and the two men circle again. The crowd seems stunned at first before applauding.* TH: It looks like these two are going to honor the code of professionalism here. JK: Oh I would doubt that very much Gorilla. *The two men lock up and Blood is able to push Mackenzie into the corner. The ref gets in between the two men but Blood uses the momentary distraction to poke Mackenzie in the eye.* TH: Well there goes that ideaJK: Took longer than I would have figured. *The ref goes to check on Mackenzie, but Blood pushes him out of the way and starts to work on Mackenzie in the corner. Blood lands a few choice body blows and drops to a knee to deliver a handful of shoulder thrusts in the corner. Finally the ref is able to get Blood and Mackenzie out of the corner. So Blood just kicks Mackenzie in the gut and spikes him with a DDT.* JK: So far the Blood Knight looking to not have any trouble with our TV Champion.TH: Mackenzie has been in several tough battles since winning the TV Title King. He has plenty of fight left in the tank, believe me. *Blood wraps Mackenzie up in a body scissors and leans back to try and squeeze Mackenzie into submission. Mackenzie is trying to get Blood's legs off of him but Blood, who is seated behind Mackenzie just slaps him across the back of the head and then re-strengthens his hold.* TH: It looks like Blood is getting closer to the ropes, wouldn't he want to keep this hold in the middle of the ring?JK: I can think of a reason why Blood is moving the two of them closer to the ropes. *Mackenzie again tries to break free and just as he is about to get control, Blood using his long reach to grab hold of the bottom rope and Mackenzie instantly starts screaming in pain.* TH: Ryan Blood will apparently do whatever it takes to win. I don't know how anyone could like or support his actions. JK: Well what's not to like? Blood wants to win and is willing to do whatever it takes, just like you said. Cheating is just a part of life. Overcoming a cheater just makes you all the stronger. TH: Unless a cheater wins. Then what? JK: Then maybe you should learn to cheat too. *The ref checks on Mackenzie who is shaking his head “No” but the pain he is in is etched on his face. The ref turns back to look at Blood who lets go of the ropes a moment before the ref looked back. The ref goes back to checking on Mackenzie and Blood grabs the bottom rope again. The ref instantly looks back at Blood and can see him grabbing the ropes. The ref starts a five count and orders Blood to break the hold. The ref only gets to 3 before Blood breaks the hold, pops up, and kicks Mackenzie right in the lower back.* TH: Ryan Blood proving he'll do whatever it takes to win.JK: And why shouldn't he? Connor Mackenzie has an Inter-Forums title shot later tonight, a title shot that should go to someone who ISN'T already a champion! Ryan Blood is punishing Connor for his greediness!TH: Connor Mackenzie earned that shot!JK: Circumstancial!*Ryan uses a chance to let the fans at ringside know exactly how he feels about them before turning his attention back to Mackenzie. He picks Mackenzie off the mat and sends him for the ride into the turnbuckles. Mackenzie hits chest first and stumbles back into the waiting arms of Blood, who looks to be sinking in a sleeper hold. But Mackenzie quickly and effortless reverses it into a belly-to-back suplex.* JK: A lot more fight in Mackenzie than appeared!TH: Mackenzie has been in wars and comes out just missing the three count. I have to believe that at some point this young man is going to be the Icon that so many people believe he can be. If he wants to start with a win here, he is going to need to get to it. NOW! *Mackenzie struggles to get to his feet as Blood continues to hold his head. Mackenzie measures Blood and waits for Blood to get to one knee before running up onto Blood's own knee and delivering a Step-up Yakuza Kick into Blood's face. Blood falls to the floor as Mackenzie goes for the pin.* ONE...
T...Kick-out! [/b] TH: Mackenzie seems to be building up some real momentum here. JK: It's a simple second wind Gorilla. He'll tire himself out soon enough. *Mackenzie grabs Blood in a half nelson and and converts that into a back-breaker. Another cover!* ONE...
TW...Kick out. [/b] *Mackenzie picks up Blood for a scoop slam but Blood uses the moment to slap Mackenzie in the ribs and Mackenzie awkwardly drops Blood on his head. Blood rolls out of the ring while holding his head and neck.* JK: I don't think that worked out for Ryan Blood there. TH: I don't think this will either!
*Mackenzie shrugs the pain, bounces off the far ropes and leaps over the top rope with his arms extended out in a cross. Mackenzie comes crashing down on Blood.*
TH: Suicide plancha by Mackenzie! JK: Suicide is right Gorilla! Mackenzie hit the ground as hard as Blood did!
*Both men are laid out on the floor as The Ref starts his count. By the count of 4 Mackenzie is already back on his feet. He slides back in the ring and then right back out again to break up the count. He grabs Blood and rolls him back into the ring. Mackenzie then grabs his ribs and hits the floor.*
TH: Clearly Mackenzie is still suffering from the damage done to his ribs earlier in the match. JK: Mackenzie needs to suck it up and get back in the ring, if he wants to be the best so bad he needs to show what he is capable of right now.
*Mackenzie catches his breath and gets back into the ring only to be caught with a boot to the ribs by Blood who follows up with a quick DDT. Blood then points to the top rope and climbs up.*
JK: Blood looking for Owen 3:16 Gorilla! TH: If he hits this, it may be all over for Connor Mackenzie.
*Blood leaps from the top rope but Mackenzie was playing possum and jumped up and used uncanny timing to connect with a knee to Blood's face. Blood stands perfectly straight up and down for a moment before falling ,straight forward on his face.*
“HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!”
TH: Sometimes our fans say more than I can King! Blood looks to be out cold! JK: Connor Mackenzie's gonna steal this one! Blood had him beat!
*Mackenzie reaches Blood and goes for the cover.*
ONE...
TWO...
THRE...NO! [/b] TH: Ryan Blood SOMEHOW, SOMEWAY finds enough sense to get a shoulder off the mat. JK: Blood is a true competitor and it's going to take some more than a massive knee lift to dim his headlights! *Mackenzie picks Blood up, but Blood delivers a forearm to the gut, sending Mackenzie back. Mackenzie recovers and goes for a clothesline, but Blood ducks under, hooks the arm...* TH: Blood with a backslide pin!ONE!
TWO!
KICKOUT! JK: How many near falls can these two whip out?*Connor rolls into a standing position and throws a kick which the kneeling Blood just ducks...* TH: Once again, if Connor defeats Ryan Blood tonight, he will qualify for a Freakin' Awesome Title Shot or an Interforums Title Shot.*Blood open-fist strikes Connor in the face as he gets up and whips Connor to the ropes...* JK: But Ryan Blood has something to say about that.*Connor rebounds-* TH: Blood with a discus elbow, but Connor ducks it!*Connor spins around, slaps his arm over Blood's shoulder, and slams him down with a standing moonsault side slam.* TH: Connor with the BSOD!
One!
Two!
Blood gets the shoulder up!JK: Connor with some quick thinking, but Blood is made of stronger stuff that that.*Connor gets up and grabs Blood by the arm to stand him up...* JK: Blood is here to win that belt.*Connor whips Blood to the corner...* JK: He once was the face of the FAWA and he's ready to climb the ladder again.TH: Connor getting ready for the Dragon Drop. He's ready to end this, but Blood stops him with a kick to the chest!JK: And Blood isn't in a half bad position to improvise an ADH!TH: Blood's hooks his arm!*Blood, his arm hooked around the back of Connor's head, climbs up the turnbuckle, forcing Connor up with him...* JK: Connor made one wrong move, Gorilla, and sometimes that's all it takes.TH: Wait Jesse...*Connor resists with a punch to Blood's side, then head butts him in the face...* TH: The Television Champ isn't down and he's certainly not out!JK: Don't fall off, Blood!*Connor bends Blood over, hooks the two arms, and jumps off for a facebuster!* TH: Dragon Drop! The challenger is down!ONE!
TWO!
THREE! DING! DING! DING!MM: Here is your winner as a result of a pinfall and still your FAWA Television Champion: "The Digital Dragon" Connor... Mackenzie!*Connor gets up and has his hand raised by Referee Alphonzo as the TV Title belt is handed back to him and Blood recovers...* TH: Connor played it safe and he played it smart as the best of us could tonight, and he still holds the Television Title!JK: I don't know, he seems a little out of it though. Blood doesn't throw powder puff punches and kicks.*Connor looks down at Blood, who gets up and glares back...* TH: Hopefully Blood respects that the match is over.JK: Oh, he's far from finished.*Blood leaves the ring, to which Connor raises the belt over his head and celebrates...* TH: He's far from done pursuing titles here in the FAWA, but he knows what's done is done in this match.JK: If nothing else, he did the Interforums Champion, Seth Drakin, a favor.TH: Seth wasn't 100% when he faced Connor Mackenzie at Lord of the Ring, and now Connor Mackenzie won't be 100% against Seth Drakin coming up later tonight.JK: And don't think for a second that Drakin will let Connor forget that when he gets his hands on him.
