So is the story here that AJ is still capable of wrestling and not just carrying around Dolph's briefcase/saliva?

I like AJ, but she's not a heel. Her stuff with Daniel Bryan was her best stuff, because it was generally subtle for the most part, and they took a good thing and hammered it into the ground.
I also guess can't keep her at that level forever. And on the bright side, AJ and Paige seem similar in style, so the match was probably excellent.

So... When is the war between AJ fans and Paige fans happening again? Team Paige! Team AJ/Paige!

Mark my words these two are gonna be the the Trish/Lita or Mickie/Melina of this era. Two popular divas who appeal to two different demographics that are opposed enough from each other to form the biggest rivalry in the divas division. Really hope that after Mania, Paige finally is called up and they can finally start what will breath new life into the division.

Plus Kaitlyn has her own fan base and has her power based offense that is very different than the other divas offense. Then which ever one of the Summer Rae/Audrey/Emma group excels the most makes it a solid core of young divas to build around for the next 6-7 years.

Is it really odd that AJ is getting less TV? It's WM time and Dolph isn't doing much...
I wouldn't worry about her yet, but I will say it was a mistake to turn her. She was a solidly over face.

I dont think AJ has ever won via a finisher herself, she only ever rolls up.
Lets remember back to Stephanie as Womans Champion also, did she ever win a match?

She's also beaten Maxine with the Shining Wizard on NXT:Redemption and defeated Tamina with the Sliced Bread #2 on Superstars. Not to mention making Aksana and Naomi to tap out to the Octopus Hold in NXT3.

Give it up. ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png) looking at the sun and being reminded of Brock Lesnar, YES I like how Brock is the glorious life giving sun within which we all bask.

I for one am shocked that a veteran heel lost to a rookie face via some sort of fluke shenanigans on a house show.

I love the idea that AJ Lee was always a dominate wrestler in the ring and losing to Paige at a house show is going to have her being de-pushed.
