I dunno. I know they'd want to go with the dark, grim, and gritty one handed version with the long hair and beard, but to tell the truth, my favorite version of Aquaman was the one used in Brave and the Bold. He was a happier kinda guy, and reminded me more of Hercules from Marvel. I doubt that version would change people's opinions from what they are now, but that's the version I'd rather see, personally. I would watch the hell out of an Aquaman movie if it is based off of the BatB version. |

I'm going to say this, that "joke" is just plain not funny. not because it's another "lol Aquaman is useless" joke, but mainly because it's one of the most tasteless, unfunny rape jokes I've ever heard. I still watch Family Guy but this is one of the biggest creative misfires they've ever done. seriously, did anyone watch this and actually find it funny? The joke isn't about rape, it's about how useless aquaman is. The scene even depicts that rape is serious but Aquaman is completely useless. |

I know it'd never work as a movie, but it'd be interesting to see a "Legends of the Dark Knight" type film. Where a group of kids or something are on a beach and are talking about this guy they hear about, Aquaman. At first it sounds lame, but then they start talking about whether or not this guy is a useless cartoony fish talker, a boasting adventurer or a badass King of the Sea. |

The scene even depicts that rape is serious but Aquaman is completely useless. except the real Aquaman would march out of the sea and beat the tar out of the guy. the joke could've been told without the guy raping her. he could've just as easily been stealing her purse. if you can tell the same joke without using rape, then don't use rape. basic rule to follow. |

See, what I don't get it is wouldn't a human body that can swim as fast as a fish and withstand the pressure down there be, on land, about as strong as Superman? he's not as strong as Superman but he's still VERY strong, on par with Wonder Woman. he can also jump vast distances ala Golden Age Superman or the Hulk. it's actually just easier to say that on land he's got the same powerset that Golden Age Superman had before he got his Silver Age upgrades. |
