Season 4:
The Mane 6 go off to face a returning Tirek, and go missing during the battle. So Princess Celestia has to bring in the B-team, Lyra, Bon Bon, Doctor Whooves, Derpy, Thunderlane, and Sunset Shimmer to protect Equestria from evil and learn the values of Friendship as the new Elements of Harmony. Near the end of the season, they find the Mane 6, distraught that they will be relegated back to background characters. However, it turns out that the Mane 6 has turned evil, and the B-team has to team up once more to defeat Tirek and the now evil Mane 6.

To be honest, I never watched SPD. I only watched Linkara's HOPR version. I stopped watching full time after Zeo, and I watched Wild Force, Ninja Storm, and Dino Thunder in bits and pieces. |
