I remember reading about that on a Nitro report many years ago, but I never saw the actual show. It was suitably during a Luger match too, I think.
Nice to finally see the fan Torture Rack, heh!

Please someone tell me Hail teamed up with Glacier at least once.

Speaking of Glacier, I found this little gem:

It was actually on Thunder during a Luger Total Package promo. And not just any Thunder, the Thunder in which a very "influenced" Kevin Nash does commentary.

Believe it or not, Hail is his actual last name. As mentioned, Hail infamously appeared as "The Machine", facing DDP on an episode of Thunder. You can find the match on YouTube. He then accompanied Jimmy Hart to ringside during one of his matches with Mancow. I know he has since passed away.

There were various fan Torture Racks throughout those Monday Night War years.

I'm surprised Jimmy Hart even got a jacket made with "Hail" on it. It doesn't look like there's any other names on the front of it, at least.

I had no idea Hail was in WCW. I know Jimmy was with him in the short lived XWF. Funny in that picture he had more interesting look. Compared to the XWF plan black long tights. The guy did nothing impressive. Just basic power moves. He finished people in XWF with a leg drop like a poor man Hulk Hogan.

I'm trying to find footage of Jimmy Hart managing Hail (or Emory Hale as his real name is), but the only thing I can find are a couple of sqaushes by Luger and Booker T, the latter occurring on the Fingerpoke Nitro.

I really have no recollection of anything else at this point, but I do remember he won at least one match on WCW television with "Hail's Bells", which was a jumping piledriver
