And in both true Hogan and Revenge fashion, Hogan got right back up immediately after.

Looked forward to this show every year: I remember recording the show with that Rey/Flair match, but I can't remember if that second one is from the same show or not. I remember Nash diving in once to escape from The Giant though ("1998 Cannonball Champion of Spring break")

I remember Nash diving in once to escape from The Giant though ("1998 Cannonball Champion of Spring break") It's not. The Mysterio vs. Flair one was from 99 when Flair was champion. Flair gave a bunch of low card guys numbers and that person faced him. Someone gave Rey there number and Rey nearly won the title.

Sting starred in a TNT movie called Shutterspeed at about this time, and I remember thinking that his promos afterward contained a lot more "acting" than before. I believe this was also the time that his persona started moving from the Crow more toward the Joker.

man with the exception of a few, the women of wcw looked roooooough Personally, I thought they were better looking than the women WWE had at the time. Miss Hancock, Torrie Wilson, Miss Elizabeth, Pamela Paulshock, Miss Jones (looked better on live TV than in pictures), Nitro Girl Spice, Kimberly Page (sometimes), Miss Madness, Kim Kanner. Then there was Medusa, Major Gunns, Tygress, Kimona Wanalaya who did nothing for me.

...the hell is Mike Awesome doing? Awkwardly not taking a Stroke while probably not being told the end of the match lol. Coleman saved him and basically stood and watch him get guitar smacked. Also, Major Gunns is a fun kind of trashy. Also that red headed Nitro girl.
