I like to pretend 18's set is a case of them leaving the scaffolding up, as they'd run out of time to install the real set.

I really liked 21 at the time but the stadium Manias are all great although 25 leaves a bit to be desired I remember with all the stobe lights throughout the Stadium really helping the place out.

Great thread! Thanks for the time & effort you put into the opening post, sire.
Nothing will top 24 design wise, but I adore 17 & 28. Considering the designs and how important both those events are to me as a wrestling fan I rate them higher than 24 in every way.

24 really is a good stage, but I'm partial to 28's as well. But that may be because it's the first 'Mania I went to. I loved XX's best simply because of Kane's entrance.

Part of Wrestlemania for me is seeing the set for the first time when the PPV starts. I purposely avoid seeing any photos of it or watch any pre-show so I don't spoil the experience.
The Wrestlemania IV/V banners were recycled. Well, the ring apron one certainly was anyway. You can clearly see they've taped off the "I" from the previous year.

I'll be honest. I'm a mark for all of the outdoor WrestleManias. When wrestling starts outside in the sunlight... it just makes me really happy.
WrestleMania 27's set is pretty epic as well, as is X-Seven's.

Fantastic. One of the things I look forward to every year is the set. So this was great to see.
I would argue that WrestleMania X7 marked the big switch in emphasis for WWE. It's a pretty unremarkable set by today's standards but at that point it felt huge and really exciting.

I just like it when the screens come together to make a big image, like the Morrison pic you used for WM XXVI. Something about that feels right to me, and that's why my favorite is either 24 or 25.

Great thread, I'm in total agreement for the love Wrestlemania 24 gets. Pictures speak a lot louder than words so I'll leave these here just incase anyone needs anymore reminders of just how incredible it looked: And here is one more huge one: {Spoiler}

Add me to the "WrestleMania X8's looks like hot garbage" list. Terrible, don't know what they were thinking.
WMXXIV is also my favourite, but I also really liked IX, X-Seven, 21, 27 and 28.
