So Elgin attacked Ciampa? I hope they don't do something stupid like have Elgin claim to be doing ROH's dirty work so he can keep his citizenship or some such crap. Then again they do keep Elgin employed so they've already met the first 7 words of my previous statement.

Guess Adam Cole is winning back the ROH World title to wash away the taste of Elgin's reign. And it about time for Lethal for to drop the TV title. I want to see ACH or Cedric Alexander with the gold but I'm sensing Hanson is getting the nod.

So I may be a Broken Record, but the Elgin stuff and The Kingdom stuff just doesn't do anything for me. As I said in the past, I feel like the Kingdom is just an attempt to get Bennett and Taven over by being with Adam Cole

I liked the Kingdom until Matt Hardy left. Not that I dislike them now, but Matt was definitely the glue that kept them together, they just feel like 3 individual guys who happen to be in a group without him.

EDIT: Though you never know when something might click, I thought the Decade were an extremely awkward group when they started but now they're most consistently my favorite thing going on shows lately.

Maybe it's cause I'm not a Bennett or Taven fan but they just have never really found anything to really get fans consistently interested in them or put them in roles that really help them out. Bennett at least kind of has embracing the fact that people will hate him for having a really hot fiance but I just don't think they've really found things that click for them.

Same with the Decade. I don't think they really had a true idea on what to do, but involving Page has helped a lot.

And I think the Elgin thing is them doing a last grasp to try and save someone they're high on

Shocking the world by not only winning the prestigious New Japan IWGP Super Junior Tag Team Tournament as well as the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championships, Current Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions Bobby Fish & Kyle O’Reilly known as reDRagon have compete against The Time Splitters with the Ring of Honor World Tag Team Championship on the line.

Formed in August of 2012, The Time Splitters have been exciting wrestling fans and winning titles across the world over. They are 2x holders of the New Japan Pro Wrestling Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship. After a little over a year of teaming, the exciting duo also won the NJPW Super Junior Tag Tournament.

No strangers to Ring of Honor, Alex Shelley debuted with Ring of Honor in 2003. The trainee of current ROH manager Truth Martini has a storied past in ROH. Some of the landmark moments include forming the much talked about stable Generation Next, as well as creating havoc as a member of Prince Nana’s Embassy. Kushida took ROH by storm with a strong debut in August of 2013. Returning in 2014 Ring of Honor fans got their first taste of the Time Splitters as a team, as they tore down the house with then Ring of Honor World Tag Team Champions, The Young Bucks.

This will be the 3rd meeting between these two teams. The Time Splitters defeated reDRagon in an IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Title match last August in Tokorozawa, Saitama, Japan for New Japan Pro Wrestling. This loss came on the prestigious G1 Climax finale show. Fish & O’Reilly’s debut as a unit in Japan was ruined and this is not something they took lightly. reDRagon didn’t miss a beat after this loss.

They impressed NJPW officials enough to receive an invite to this year’s Super Junior Tag Tournament. Fish & O’Reilly defeated stand out teams Bushi & Mascara Dorada as well as a pair of former ROH World Tag Team Champions in The Forever Hooligans and The Young Bucks in the finals to win the tournament. Not stopping there, they challenged the champions to a match on the closing night of the tour.

Riding a wave of momentum not seen in professional wrestling in a very long time, Fish & O’Reilly avenged that big loss of last summer by defeating Shelley & Kushida to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight tag team championship.

IT'S NO DQ WHEN TOMMASO CIAMPA TAKES ON CEDRIC ALEXANDER
Road to Final Battle - 11/22 Baltimore, MD



Tommaso Ciampa has always been a loose cannon. Be it in the ring, on the microphone, or even in the locker room - he has the nickname of "psychopath" for a reason. No one is ever 100% certain what Ciampa will do next. And this was never more evident than just a few months ago, when Ciampa went on a rampage that resulted in his immediate suspension from ROH.

That night, after failing to win the ROH title, Tommaso Ciampa unleashed his fury on a number of ring crew members, ROH officials, and even Kevin Kelly. After drilling ROH ring announcer Bobby Cruise in the head and nearly ending his career with a severe concussion, Ciampa was immediate suspended from Ring of Honor. He's since been reinstated under what Nigel McGuinness calls a "zero tolerance" policy. And if he violates it by touching another ROH official, he's gone for good.

While thus far Tommaso has been adhering to the specifics required by Nigel, he's still erratic and unstable. And recently that rage has been taken out on Cedric Alexander. First, unconfirmed reports strongly indicate it was Ciampa who took out Cedric before the Honor Rumble, snagging a spot for himself. But there's nothing in question about what just went down on ROH TV.

The one-on-one encounter between Ciampa and Alexander ended in huge controversy and Nigel McGuinness himself had to step in. Originally, the official awarded the match to Ciampa on a submission victory when Cedric was unable to respond after three opportunities. However, the reason Alexander was knocked out? Not the submission - but he was choked out by Ciampa's illegal use of the tag rope while the official was incapacitated. Nigel, of course, witnessed this and stepped in to reverse the decision on Cedric's behalf.

But today we can confirm this rivalry WILL continue at TAG WARS in Baltimore on November 22nd! It's just been signed: Tommaso Ciampa vs. Cedric Alexander - NO DISQUALIFICATION!

Clearly, Ciampa intends to skirt the rules whenever he sees fit. But Cedric Alexander has proven himself to be competitive and honorable - and that can be a disadvantage when your opponent is willing to use illegal tactics. Now at TAG WARS virtually anything goes, so the playing field is wide open. This is going to be brutal!
