I thought it was great. They blew away Motorhead when they played for HHH (and Lemmy forgot the lyrics). There was a black guy at the bar I was watching 'Mania at who was shocked. He said something like (and I'm paraphrasing) "Brotha's ain't into that rock shit!" Funny since blacks were the architects of rock and roll. And I must not be a brotha because I like rock just as much as I do rap. Many of my white co-workers ask me to tell them what rock song is playing on the radio because they don't know. And then there is also Ice T with Body Count.

Goddman, I must be the elder statesman here because not only did I know they were black, I remember other songs they had like "Elvis Is Dead"

Goddman, I must be the elder statesman here because not only did I know they were black, I remember other songs they had like "Elvis Is Dead" I knew they were black, sued the tv show "In Living Color" because of trademark infringement, and had an another video that aired on MTV called Glamour Boys. Of course, it was back in the late 80's and I was a preteen.

When I first saw Living Colour, I was more taken aback by Corey Glover's love for Body Glove attire than anything.

Loved it. That riff sounds so awesome when it's raw and live.

I've known for years that Living Colour was an all-black band. If you're a fan of Sevendust, you tell where they got some of their influence from.

Yeah, the tried and true recipe for success is just go out there and rock the house, no frills necessary. Both entrances were phenomenal to see.

Living Colour were outstanding. I can't say yet if they were better than Salt N Pepa at Wrestlemania 11, but it was excellent.
Did the commentary mention that it's also the 25th anniversary of the release of the song?

Listening to them practice while waiting in line outside the arena, I thought it'd be OK. BUT MY GOD that was easily one of the best parts of the show for me, they were AWESOME. I don't even think I can describe it; being there live, the atmosphere was intense. The crowd, the band, everything was just insanely fantastic.
Everything about Punk/Taker was amazing; it's the best match I've ever seen live.
