Austin's story on the second Heyman episode about drug testing the rats on his ranch is batshit insane, and worth the download in itself.

No you have to listen to this one, he goes off on an insane tangent that makes less sense as it progresses in the most fantastic way.

Shit, I skipped ahead because his personal stories are normally boring as f***. Usually I agree, but him theorising why the rats would beat his idea for keeping them away from his trucks was amusing.

What about the rate who crawl up in the rafters? Then can drop down and still get in your trucks.

I love Austin's personal stories. Not only does he seem like a regular guy...
He's kind of a dork.

Heyman's delusions of grandeur are worse than Hulk Hogan's, but he's such a smooth talker that he makes you believe his BS.
If Heyman is to be believed from Austin's podcast, he was all set to go head-to-head with Howard Stern (at the height of his popularity) with a radio show on Hot 97 in New York, but he backed out when he got an overwhelming desire to "change" the wrestling business.
Really? REALLY?!

Really? REALLY?! It's very possible. His stint on college talk radio was apparently controversial enough to get him noticed and hired as a producer and promoter at Club 54, and he actually promoted a wrestling show in either that club or a similar one. This wouldn't have been at the height of Stern's popularity though (that wouldn't come until the early 90s), but in the mid-to-late 80s when Stern was taking over just the NY scene.

Eric Bischoff Pt. 1 is up Boring ep for me. Not a lot of wrestling content discussed. My guess is part 2 is a lot better.

Whenever Steve Austin mentioned the word 'politics', I was ready to delete. Certainly with Eric Bischoff being the guest.

Part 2 was better but yeah Austin is really stretching out the content. This is his first ever Four Part series. Ep 3 with Bischoff is this Tuesday featuring questions from Twitter. Thursday is part 4 that focuses on the end of WCW and his time with WWE.
So now we know that when he eventually has Vince on (which Austin has previously confirmed Vince said he would do), it's gonna be like... 10 Parts :/

Bischoff has always been pretty chatty when it comes to his career, so much of what we're hearing now we've heard before. While lots of people have told stories about Vince, we've rarely heard anything from Vince himself.

Does Bischoff still have that same quality that Paul Heyman has where he can pretty much sell you that he's a genius of geniuses who never really made any mistakes?
I think that's the first skill promoters learn when they level up.
