R&W Boo-Andre and DiBiase screwing Hogan out of the title on The Main Event New Generation Boo-Owen kicking Bret's leg out of his leg at RR 94
A weird note about the older eras-the most mundane things would get pops that can compare to huge events today. Jake Roberts setting "Dangerous" Danny Davis up for the DDT at Survivor Series 1987 is like a Ziggler cashing in pop. That's not hyperbole, either. Ah, when it was still real to everyone dammit....

How about in WCW when Ciclope won that battle royal to face Chris Jericho for the cruiserweight title and it was Dean Malenko under the mask?

Boos:
Ruthless Agression: "But I'll be sure to come back when the Lakers beat the Kings in May."

Boos: Ruthless Agression: "But I'll be sure to come back when the Lakers beat the Kings in May." Ahh man, I was just gonna say this! That is the biggest heel reaction I've ever heard.

HHH's return at MSG blows away almost every other pop. The roof just blows off of that place when he comes out and it just keeps going and going. That was just surreal. I still watch that every now and again just to reaffirm how insane that pop was.

As much as people bash the crowds this era, there is some stiff competition for top pop.

I'm surprised no one has mentioned Jeff Hardy for PG Era, the dude had the most insane pop ever when he won the WHC at Armageddon 2008.
Also for Ruthless Aggression Era, RVD and Eddie Guerrero winning the WWE Title have got to be up there.

WCW best pop? eh em: "LUGER WON THE TITLE!" Also, Ziggler's was big but I'm sure there were bigger ones we just don't remember Luger winning the belt on Nitro was my biggest mark out moment for WCW, no question. CM Punk winning the title in Chicago could definitely rival Ziggler's cash-in.

Hogan's pop at his Hall of Fame induction just kept going and going and going and going.

maybe in top 5-10. I would put Punk winning at MITB, Daniel Bryans yes chants at mania, Rocks return, any of Takers big moments in the current era above it for sure. Yeah Top 5 seems about right. I think it was bigger than the YES chants for Bryan, although I wish it wasn't the case (since I prefer Bryan), and I can't think of any humongous pops for Taker over recent years (they're always big, but never roof blowing off worthy) - albeit my memory is terrible. I really hope they release the dark match of 4/2/12 on DVD one day on a Daniel Bryan DVD so we can hear it high quality.

John Cena entering the arena at MITB 2011, you couldn't hear his theme from boos.

DDP turning down the nWo was pretty huge. (1997, back when NOBODY turned that offer down.) Goldberg beating Hogan for the WCW Title. Austin coming out to help Mankind win the WWF Title.

In the Ruthless Aggression era, Shawn Michaels has both a pop and boo of equally epic proportions.
Pop: Winning the WHC at the Survivor Series in 2002 Boo: THAT Montreal promo in 2005.

f***ing hell, I'm fed up of the blind Dolph Ziggler love on here now.
He did get a big pop, but hardly the biggest pop of the PG era, hell Cena has had much bigger pops during his entrance (when in Pro Cena areas)

Go rewatch it. It was easily the biggest pop of the night, from one of the loudest crowds the WWE's had in years. Definitely one of the biggest pops of the current era.
