1. I found it very weird that I read this article on Kotaku and destructoid before I read it here.

2. I really don't like how there is a label for everything. This kid is clearly messed up, and it seems like they're trying to find an excuse by putting some kind of disease label on this rather than trying to find a reason why he did what he did. Either way, no label will justify killing and attempting to rape one's mother.

This raises an interesting question for parents or would-be parents, I think. Your kid is mad at you, he knocks you down and tries to rape you. What do you do? Do you make good on the time-honored parental promise, "I brought you into this world and I can take you out of it"? Or do you try to knock the kid out non-lethally and get him help, even knowing that his next step might be grabbing a knife or a gun and killing you?
