It's been a pretty slow and depressing thread. Huh. Hope everything is okay Malcom.

Hm-mm, my thoughts on this whole Equestria Girls thing.
I usually go with a wait and see attitude on things, though I have to admit that there's a bit of disappointment on how things seem to be going. Like, my initial interest on stuff like this starts with a slight sense of novelty, as I don't pay much attention to word-of-mouth and whatnot. Take Katawa Shoujo for example. My initial view on the thing was more or less "a dating sim with crippled girls? That'd be a hoot!" and so I went and checked it out. I then found something I could be genuinely interested in, thanks to how the story and characters are portrayed. Much like that, is pretty much how I became a fan of MLP.
Then I got to the part where I got to find out here how Equestria Girls would be. I can't help but be skeptical with a plot like that. I haven't reached that part where Twilight becomes an Alicorn, but the focus on her is a bit... conflicting, to be honest. I can't help but see the plot as a wasted one. Instead of establishing a new universe, they decide to connect it directly to the main series. I don't know. I don't mind the fact that there is a certain marketing purpose for all this, but it's the fact that it's done so poorly is what makes me go a bit meh.
Perhaps the fandom itself has spoiled me. You get some wonderful interpretations from fanart alone, and they go with a design that's in my opinion sub-par. Instead of trying to develop a new story, they go with Twilight visits another dimension. It's not Twilight that bugs me, by the way. If it was Rarity I'd still feel that it was a weak strategy to get people interested by tying it too directly to the MLP universe.
Frankly, I found myself more interested in Megasweets K-On like Equestria Girls. The names of the characters have been changed, Spike has become a lizard, among other things. It's far from the usual MLP series yet the small connections and personalities still remind me of the main series. It has its flaws perhaps, but not as glaring as how poor the actual EG would start off.

Years on the moon have skewed Luna's sense of fashion.

Now if Equestria Girls was something like THIS, I don't think there'd be a problem.

Pic cut... well, the modified name at the side should clue you in on why. Can't post the second of this since it's at full-blown NSFW mode.

That's OK Cthulu.
Your punishment is to pick a female MLP character for me to supersize.
Can be a vector of the pony form or a picture of a humanized form (less background, the better...easier to edit for someone that doesn't have Photoshop).
