This board struggles to be funny as it is. I enjoy the educated wrestling discussions as well as the interesting discussions on pop culture, but the humour is mostly awful. The Memes are probably the worst part of all of that, theyre forced, overplayed and many of them were non jokes to begin with x

The stockholders thing was hilarious for maybe a day or two after it originally happened. I really liked it actually and would have liked to see it not be run into the ground so fast. Anyway I found this really neat picture that I thought you guys should see. {Spoiler}  |

I thought the Shareholders thing was hilarious because of how the dude said he would get the Swagger and Zeb storyline shut down, and a day later Swagger gets arrested for DUI. You couldn't ask for better timing on that. Granted, without the DUI, it was just another slightly amusing flood of posts that lasted for about half an hour or so. But at least it didn't seemingly last forever like the Tensai crap did. |

Pretty much all the memes are unfunny at first then they are just run into the ground big deal fairly quick.
Apart from Basketball Jones, that was rubbish and annoying from the get-go.

It happens about every second or third meme, generally. Happened with the Tensai thing, happened with the shareholders thing, and was starting to happen with the least impressive thing, but that was thankfully nipped in the bud. I get in jokes, especially when they're played well. But I don't really get what makes people think "That thread was funny, I'm going to remake it with ____ and it'll be just as funny!" |
