The Pacers game is much more pleasing to watch than the Knicks Iso up and take contested shots. More pleasing? Indiana plays uglyball and can drag down scores- yeah, that'll please us! Better than watching JR Smith hoist up bricks.

Well maybe the Knicks will learn a few things, like sweep a team in the first round and get much needed rest. The elbow will haunt them all off season.
The Knicks should replace Kidd and JR with these two, they might be an improvement over Mr. too scared too shot and Mr. brick.
Ha ha, that cheered me up a little bit.

Honestly, if I thought the Knicks had any chance at all against the Heat, or if the Heat actually got eliminated by the Bucks or Bulls, I'd be pissed about this. But I'm just happy they didn't job out in 5 and forced a game 6. Especially when pretty much everyone but Melo and Shumpert didn't do a thing this series. And really, any Knick fan who bitches about Melo being a "selfish player" after this has no idea what they're talking about and doesn't deserve to have an opinion on basketball. He carried this team on his back when everyone else disappeared or forgot how to play the game. I'd be selfish if I was him, too. Otherwise it would've been a 30 point blowout.
Anyway, congrats to the Pacers. They deserved the win. Predictions for next round:
Heat in 5, maybe 6 Grizzlies in 7

Heat beat the Pacers in 6. It's not going to be an easy series for Miami.
Grizzlies beat the Spurs in 6 as well. Grizzlies score an upset on the road, and win their 3 home games.

Melo until he prioritizes to imrpove on defense and become a leader for his team on defense dude will almost always go out 1st or 2nd round just like A I.

As a Pacers fan, just wanna say that the Knicks gave em a tough fight tonight, so kudos to them. And I agree with the advice to dump JR Smith...ever since he made those comments about 'if he would have played they would have won', he has played terribly. Maybe it was karma, I dunno. As for Miami goes...I look forward to a hard-fought series, and may the best team win. I know alot of people are saying Heat in 6, but I think if Indy can steal game 1, they will be in a good position to pull off a shocker. In any case, it's gonna be a good series! I just hope the complaining about refs is kept to a minimum.

The Pacers are BORING with a capital B.
They are just a bunch of tall guys who attack glass
Seriously, what's so great about Indiana? I mean, they really only have 2 things that blow us away- size and rebounds.

The Knicks were flashy and exciting and all that...and where are they now? Oh yeah...going home. Flash doesn't always equal good teams. I'd take my Pacers over a flashy team any day of the week, because they don't have one guy who hogs the ball all the time. Nobody ever talked about Lance Stephenson, and what happened? He totally went off and scored 25 points tonight. That's what I love about the Pacers...on any given night, any of them could score 20 + points. And usually their whole starting line up scores in double figures. They share the ball. That's what the word TEAM is all about.

I'm no Knick fan, but I don't want to see games where teams struggle to hit 35-40 points at halftime.

I'm no Knick fan, but I don't want to see games where teams struggle to hit 35-40 points at halftime. Ok, this is something I've been finding funny for a long time. Basketball is probably the only sport where people expect the pros to score more points in their games than the amateurs do in their games. Basically compare American football to basketball. College football is typically high scoring with most games having at least one team scoring 30+ points, but in the NFL most games are lucky to have a team score 28+ points let alone the combined score being over 28 points. College basketball is typically low scoring, usually around 60 points for both teams playing, some games breaking 70 or 80 points for a team, but a team scoring 90+ points isn't common. But go to the NBA and anything under 90 points for a team is a bad performance. Bwuh?

I'm really hoping for a Pacers vs. Grizzlies NBA Finals matchup, because I want to see how hard David Stern would try to kill everyone in the league office.

Is the Knicks' offense of Carmelo and JR Smith dribble around take contested shots really considered exciting?
I don't think get them being flashy especially with Kenyon Martin and Jason Kidd in 2013.
