In any event, Kaworu NagisAnt's squash will be in next week, and the following week, Misato KatsuragAnt will be the last one to debut, and then the EvangeliAnts can be thrown in for voting.
I had thought Hayden was going to retain, which would send Richlen on a quest to prepare for BattleBowl, but now that likely won't happen. So now I need to figure out what I'm going to do until Gookermania (still determined to end that show as World Champion again, but WoM may have me reduced to just trying to go 3-0).

I intended it as a portmanteau of the two titles.
Truth be told, whatever it alternately is named, it has the lineages of the Interforums, Freakin' Awesome, Honor, Hardcore, and Heatz!!1 Titles. Something to bear in mind.

Um, yeah, about that squash. Among the changes I made to the first post and the fed rules was this: I haven't paid close enough attention to the number of EvangeliAnts before now because I haven't needed to, but I know it's more than two. With Shaelin and Nurse Harper also qualifying as active wrestlers, that puts you over the limit. If nobody else thought there was anything wrong with having this many characters, I wouldn't have made that rule. But the triumvirate of me, Connor, and BRB is unanimous on this. Gus, plus Marshall, plus Shaelin, plus Harper, plus all the Ants = too many. I wasn't even the one to raise the subject while we were discussing things, but after it was brought up I agreed. You can always use those characters in the 101 Colony of course, but if you want them here then you're going to have to decide who's active and who's not. If you want any of the EvangeliAnts to compete, somebody else will need to step down and just be a manager or something in order to make room. By all means still send in the squash, but as BRB pointed out when he changed the dialogue you had written for Hoss and King that one time because he felt you were going too far, the FAWA was his fed, and as such he could edit or outright reject something if he felt it necessary. The FAWA is, for the foreseeable future, my fed. So if I get something with Tim Hoss on commentary going on and on about what a travesty of justice it is that Gus Richlen didn't win the world title and how awesome he is and how much Hayden and Drakin suck--and I wish I could believe that you were above that sort of thing, but there is a precedent--the match will not make it onto the show as written. I'm sincerely sorry if what I wrote is excessively harsh. You have told me that you've been getting progressively angry with me, Gus. I have been getting progressively angrier with you for an even longer period of time, and it is difficult to keep that entirely in check. Hopefully we can come to some sort of understanding where we can coexist and try to understand one another's point of view, because it would be bad if I were to hold a grudge against anybody as a booker. What about shifting your attention to MWC and focusing on your program with Connor? That's a face vs. face thing, and because of that it probably won't get ugly and personal like the Hayden/Richlen feud did. (I've got to put my foot down about one more thing: Hayden vs. Richlen is done. Richlen can despise Hayden IC'ly all he wants, but he is going to have to move on to something else. If Hayden decides he wants to feud with Richlen some more then I'll lift that restriction, but something tells me he won't, given how legitimately unpleasant the feud became.)

Something to bear in mind. Hmmm...okay, let's brainstorm on this. Everybody's ideas are welcome. *ponders* I thought about calling it the "Freakin' Awesome Inter-Forums Championship", but that's too much of a mouthful obviously. Something that might work would be calling it the "FAWA Championship". Taking a page from WWE's book by naming one of their titles after the company. Or (and hopefully I can come up with ideas of my own sooner or later instead of stealing from real life promotions), we could call it the FAWA Grand Championship. Freakin' Awesome Network Championship, perhaps? That's all I got for now...

FAWA Prestige Title? As it has the lineage of those five past ones.

Changed the points system so that people get the same number of points for writing single or multiple promos during any given week. The reason I did that is that I feel quality is more important than quantity, and if people receive more points for writing multiple promos then they might go on for way too long.
It's not about how long you talk so much as it's about how well you talk. In real life Triple H, for example, has eaten up enormous amounts of time on "Raw" with long promos when he could have said everything he needed to say to further the storyline in half or a quarter of the time, without anything suffering for it. Sometimes less is more.
I'm not saying that you should always just write one promo and then not post anything else, particularly not if that means ignoring somebody's response to your original promo. But there's are times to go back and forth and times to wrap things up and wait to settle stuff in the ring; with the latter, if you keep on going you could wind up just repeating yourself and ultimately making a weaker impression on voters than you would if you'd been more concise.
While points are nice to have, the main incentive to promo in my opinion should be the fact that people who promo and do it well win more votes, win more matches, and that is the most reliable way to get into a title picture.

Perhaps with relation to the naming we should have it as a vote for everyone on the card? I personally didn't have a problem with the FAN title but I like Prestige as well. Certainly it doesn't hurt to brainstorm but I'm not of the mind that it necessarily needs to be changed.

Things that go BUMP in the night; if Jeremy Dupoe is booked this week, I'd like to write his match.

Dupoe's not in action this week, Waffel, but I appreciate the offer.
Also, regarding the name of the unified championship, I thought of another one which may either sound cool, or redundant, or both, but here it is for everybody's consideration: the Elite Championship.
Sorry I've taken so long to get a card up, btw. Here it is:
Television Title Match The Dream vs. MiscreANT (Being written by InVader)
Tag Team Draft Match Boiraa Ruumu Buraara vs. Antihero (Being written by Connor Mackenzie)
Tag Team Draft Match Orange Lantern Mulligan vs. Scott Martin (Being written by Waffel)
What I'm starting to remember, btw, is that booking these things can be tricky. You don't want to put a guy up against somebody who'll likely steamroll right over him, but you also don't want to put him up against somebody whom he'll easily beat. I don't think that'll be a problem this week, though.

I'll sit this week out. I only literally wrote half of Wheel of Misfortune aka the Gauntlet Match. It was just as much a Buraara vehicle as it was meant to actually put over the jobbers too.
I'm interested in how others write Buraara in a truly competitive match since he's King's Road. Long game, big picture, heroic stamina, gradual escalation, no specific finisher. Different.

Excellent! Any takers for BRB/Antihero? I can take that one Socko. Okay, I'll count the votes tonight and probably send the entrances and finishes very shortly after that's done. I'm going to vote last after looking at the promo thread, so people wanting to influence at least one voter still have time to write promos there. Yup, we'll keep doing that. I've sent the voting out for this week already, of course, but I'll include these links and anything the other theme-suggesting-guy around here, Seth, might want to suggest when people vote on next week's card. By the way, for people waiting for a points update, please try to bear with me as this part of the FAWA is brand new to me. What I'm gonna do is first find out from BRB if he updated the points right before the PPV (which I'm guessing he did, but you never know), then tally up everybody's contributions following that show, and then update it. Probably around the same time I post NiteRaw.

Hmm, okay. Just looked at the promo thread, and I gotta admit, that tag match could be pretty damn cool.
It might be tricky to make it happen though.
For starters, everybody has to agree OOC'ly to it; for Seth to agree to it his situation with the FAWA management has to be resolved in-storyline first, and for Hayden to agree to it he has to want to, although he might be up for it. If I were in his shoes, I'd want to get in the ring with Drakin again.
Also, it'd mean breaking up two existing tag teams, which may or may not be a problem. How much of a problem it is depends on whether or not Aaron comes back anytime soon.
Finally, I was planning to pit tag teams against one another following the conclusion of the tag team draft, in order to determine #1 contenders. A case could be made that Hayden & Richlen going to the head of the line without first defeating the other hopefuls wouldn't be fair to those others.
But it's got possibilities, and we'll see how things play out.
