Cowboys LT Tyron Smith has revealed he dealt with near constant harassment from his family about money last season.
Smith was forced to file a protective order against his parents, and called the police on two of his sisters after they showed up at his house unannounced to "harass and torment" him "in the pursuit of collecting financial gain."

Rotoworld I salute him for it. Sounds like his family needs to learn how to fish rather than keep asking for fish.

Rotoworld Lavar Arrington talked about this on his radio show last season when this story broke, and he basically said that this happens more than most people realize. The big problem for guys making good but not great NFL money is their family just draining them financially.

Damn, Irvin has only been in the league 1 year and failed two tests?! Good lord. Talented but proving the pundits right.

And the lols just keep coming from the Jets. Happy to see that their rookies are fitting right in. StoryHe waited until AFTER he signed a contract using them as his representative? Doesn't he realize that means that he owes them their share over the length of the contract REGARDLESS if they are actively representing him or not? Best of luck finding a new agent right now, you moron. You just lost the main incentive for someone to sign with you. At least Geno Smith might be a franchise QB, which has extra opportunities for an agent to sign him for sponsorships. What are you? A CB who will spend the next few years being compared to Derelle Revis.

@adamschefter: NFL and NFLPA are on verge of pushing back draft to May and moving up start of league year to before combine, per sources. NFL and NFLPA are close to enacting these calendar changes for the next three years.
