Even though I wouldn't mind Kings winning back to back since there hasn't been a back to back champion since 97-98 and I like the Kings. You develop incredible reasons to join a bandwagon and petty reasons to hate a team as an outsider watching the playoffs. It makes things more exciting and I dun goofed in my hockey pool so I can cheer teams for personal reasons now!

If the Kings can't win the West, I'm rooting for the B's to win it again. However, if the Sharks made it to the Finals, I may consider joining their bandwagon. Maybe.

Yeah all the teams I wanted to lose in the first round lost but the Pens and I guess the Rangers because on how I hated they were hockeys retirement home of the 90's and most of the 00's and how most Ranger fans refuse to accept 94 Rangers was practically the Edmonton Oilers. I was on the Isles bandwagon but I thought they would get their asses kicked and if the Isles had a deep playoff run well that would of been a fun bandwagon to ride on!

If Anderson continues to play way he did in round one, especially in the face of the big guns. Then the Sens will have punched their ticket to the ECF in five or six games.

Rangers in 6- Boston had trouble with Reimer save for game 1 and Henrik is really good. Bruins live and die by Krejici Horton and Lucic. Bruins aren't gonna get away with lackadaisical efforts like games 5, 6, and most of game 7. They played with fire against Toronto and are so lucky they didn't get burned.
Blackhawks in 5- Detroit is basically too dependent on Zetterberg and Datsyuk. Wings are usually a deep team- not anymore.
Sens in 6- Craig Anderson has hot goalie ala Kipper 2004 written all over him.
Sharks in 7- Gut feeling. Flipped a coin here.

Claude Julien... man, he has more lives than Garfield.
Seems like game 7 OT goals are keeping his job.

Went 6 out of 8 in the quarterfinals, missing o Montreal and Anaheim.
Conference Semifinal predictions:
East Senators in 7 Rangers in 7
West Blackhawks in 5 Kings in 7
Total guesswork on my part. I've been going back and forth on the 7 game series picks.

Eastern Conference: Sens in 6 Bruins in 7
Western Conference: Blackhawks in 5 Kings in 7 (coin flip really hard to predict)

The Leafs deserved better. On the one hand, yeah. They battled back from a 3-1 deficit and outplayed them the last couple of games. But, the harsh reality is that they were up 3 with 10 minutes left against an exhausted and defensively undermanned Bruins team. They stopped playing and paid the price for it when the Bruins woke up The Leafs pissed themselves, plain and simple

Stupid double post... anyhoo, didn't see the games, but that looked an epic choke job by the Leafs. For their sake, they had better make the playoffs again next season, otherwise this'll stay with them for a while.
